From prior to checking in Maria was awesome with accommodating our date changes and communicating information about the property and surrounding area. « This was the perfect spot for a winter family weekend. Two hour drive for those of us coming from Ottawa and 3 hours for those from Hamilton. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. It allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a regular coffee maker, we brought coffee, but not Kreurig pods and not everyone got coffee on the last day. This made for perfect kayak and paddleboard weather: so many little islands to paddle around plus observing the loon family, kingfishers, grey heron, osprey and mink.
