This property could be amazing. It is close to the city centre and has 3 good size bedrooms. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was spotless but the rest of the flat was filthy. It looks like it was rented to students and hasn’t been cleaned or refreshed since they left. There was engrained dirt around light switches, sockets, skirting boards, on doors, window sills, mould on the window frames, scuffs on every wall, splashes on the wall above the bin in the kitchen and beside the toilet. The tap in the kitchen is broken, the plug in the kitchen sink didn’t work so it was difficult to wash up. The floors were filthy. 1 out of 4 bulbs worked in the bathroom. Several double glazing units have failed and there’s condensation between the glass. Much of the furniture is tired and marked and seen better days and the sofa bed in the living room is very uncomfortable to sit on. There was food splashes up the wall under the tv in the living room and ingrained grease on the radiator and cooker hood in the kitchen. There was a lot of rubbish lying around in the communal area outside of the flat door and storage of other items so not very welcoming entrance either. The whole place needs scrubbed from ceiling to floor and then painted.
