We stayed at the Decker Hotel and Bar for one night in mid-September. It is conveniently located in the downtown area and there are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Our room was on the small side, but very clean and quiet. The shower was great and had good water pressure and plentty of hot water.
The overhead light didn't work, but there was a small lamp in the room that provided enough light for us, since we were out at a concert most of the night. If we were going to be staying in our room more, we would have requested that we be moved to a different room since the lighting would have been inadequate. If you were going to be staying more than one night or in the room more, I would consider upgrading to a larger room for the space.
The room air conditioner worked well and kept the room cool and dry.
The mattress was springly and a bit soft for us. I would suggest that it might need replacement, but the linens looked new and were quite comfortable. All in all, this is a good place to stay when visiting the state park and/or a concert at Codfish Hollow Barnstormers.
