We recently stayed at this VRBO and there were definitely some highlights, but overall the value did not match the price we paid.The biggest positives were the location and the size of the home. It was very convenient to be able to walk to both the beach and the grocery store. The community also had a very welcoming feel, and everyone we encountered was extremely nice. The restaurants in the area were amazing, and the inside of the house itself was beautiful, spacious, and worked well for our group. I also want to note that the service from the property manager was good.That said, there were several issues that impacted our stay. The home had a noticeable mildew odor that our entire party commented on. While the inside was beautiful, the outside of the house and the outdoor furniture were in poor condition. The chairs were dry rotted, the cushions were very old, and the overall outdoor setup needs updating. The screen doors also had broken handles.The amenities were not in the condition we expected. The kayaks were in rough shape, and the bikes needed repairs before they could even be ridden. There were also maintenance issues inside the home, including burned out lights and two showers with lights out. There was no remote for the ceiling fan above the pool table. We also had to call to request propane because all of the propane tanks were empty when we arrived. Overall, the property did not deliver the value for the price we paid.
