« In over 30 years of travelling on business, this is one of the best places I have stayed in.Although I did not meet the owners it was clear that the accommodation was well looked after and virtually everything had been thought of for the comfort of their guests. Virtually everything was absolutely spotlessly clean.The only small point I noticed was that there was dirt around the toilet seat hinge - a bit of a dirt trap and difficult to access(I'm sounding like a "Four in a Bed" contestant...

« Our double room had the bathroom down the hall, but despite repeated attempts there was no way to shut (or lock) the door from the inside as it was catching badly on the frame. Bath mat in the bathroom wasn't clean. Mirror in the bedroom was leant up against the wall rather than attached, so had to bend over double to use. Small window in the bedroom had no curtain and a light right outside. Noisy room (traffic noise, doorbell of late arriving guests, and could hear upstairs...

« It's a great retreat. The environment is quiet and chill,, rooms with good view on a grassland with cows & hares getting around. The only thing is the privacy,, since the glass of the window is not shaded and the people passed by could easily see through into your room when you are looking at the beautiful view. »

« I’d definitely recommend the hotel. The keyless entry didn’t initially work, but the communication with the owner was quick and a new code was sent within minutes. The rooms were lovely and there was a good variety of teas and coffees available. I was worried not having check in would mean that the owners weren’t around, but they did help us figure out how to turn the air conditioning off. The location was fantastic and it wasn’t noisy in the rooms. »
