Lodges à Matina

« Unfortunately I was unable to enjoy a stay at the Casa Grande. There is no road to the place, i.e. they have to pick you up by boat. I sent an e-mail, left two WhatsApp messages and tried calling 4 times, all to no avail. Even 2 days later I have not heard from them. I ended up in Parismina without any recourse to get to the place, and so I had to find a different accommodation there. Very unfortunate. If you can book this place in the morning for the evening, the resort must respond, otherwise...

« Most charming lodge I’ve ever been at. A perfect stop to make between the Pacific coast and the Carribean one, or between San Jose and Limon/Puerto Viejo. The view is out of this world beautiful, the location is completely off-the-grid, the team is just wonderful, the breakfast is so so good, and fresh. The chicken empanadas is the best one I ever had. The garden has so many types of flowers/trees, etc. Our dog got to run freely and enjoy the beautiful grounds. I have nothing bad to say about...
