« Brilliant location! Hotel could do with some TLC but don’t let this put you off! Mould in bathroom, but that was ok as only there for 1 night. Chocolates and slippers were a lovely touch. Nice quiet room - no complaints ! »

« When I booked for myself and grandson six ,I wasn't made aware that our "hotel room" was just a block of rooms at the bottom of a road near the entrance. These were unmanned and the key had to be collected from the main reception. This is no easy fete when there's a very steep long hill to walk up to reception. I was told our room was ready,we went down to it,expecting staff to meet us. None were there. So I and my little grandson had to walk back up to reception with a suitcase and rucksacks...

« Lovely Grade 2 building so the rooms are slightly quirky, but that is its charm. Do not expect crisp clean lines and perfectly level floors, but be prepared for a place you can comfortably relax into. »
