Highland Hideaway

Enjoy a tranquil stay on our working farm. You can sit on the front porch and watch the Scottish Highland cows and mini donkeys. A peaceful setting not far from Pittsburgh, several wedding venues and Star Lake Pavilion.

Just note, we are a working farm so at times there will be machinery noise, tours happening, farm smells and animals noise that comes with it. If you stay with us during tour days; you are more than welcome to join in for free!

The space
A real working grain and cattle farm. We host events a few weekends a year, grow corn, soybeans and wheat. We also do tours several days a week that are free as long as guest is age 10+.

Guest access
We ask that our guests don’t enter any out buildings or climb on equipment. Never enter the pasture without a tour guide. Be on the lookout for large machinery, and note that we have 3 bee hives on the property.
Please note that there can be no smoking anywhere on the property. This is for the safety of our buildings, animals and equipment.
