The estate at the hotel is beautiful near.the river. The room we were given to begin with was.not suitable very stuffy and small. We couldnt open the windows. We requested another room and this was dealt with very quickly by the receptionist. and we ended up with a lovely airy,, spacious room with views of the river (and the windows opened). We enjoyed our stay.
The property is unique and comfortable as an old building in the Borders.
The staff are excellent and very responsive to your needs.
The building is obviously old and the rooms dated, however that should be expected in a building of this age.
We had a lovely stay the room was big the bed was huge-lovely.
Staff changed our room to a ground floor which was appreciated.
The decor is old and tired and but that didnât bother us
Bit out of the way although the sat nav took us right to the door. Nice quiet area teeming with wildlife right next to Dryburgh Abbey and the river Tweed
Enjoyed the stay. Very tranquil surroundings, quite remote but only a short drive to several places of interest. Liked walking down to the river before breakfast
