« My family all met in Gainesville for an extended long weekend in March and this house was perfect for home base. All the beds were extremely comfortable, the place was clean and easy to find. We enjoyed going to local parks, UF, restaurants (satchels pizza) all nearby. The pool was huge and great for the kids (a bit too cold for us adults)! Would definitely return again! »

« This place can be deemed a 'college apartment' - not really meant for families that want the comfort of home. As others have said, the kitchen lacks basic essentials. Also, there were only towels for two people instead of four - and the bed linens were minimal. There were also other discomforts - ants in the bathtub, a broken shower door, poor water pressure (and not enough hot water for a family to take showers in the morning), and bad tasting tap water. The beautiful Cypress and lapping waves of Lake Sante Fe, I felt like Marjorie Kinan Rawlings watching a deer and dreaming of being on the water as I rocked on the swinging bed on the most beautiful porch watching candy colored sunsets or even enjoying a run in the rain, washed anew in fresh dreams enjoying the area. « Keystone Heights is a wonderful small town and this Lakefront cabin is a gem. It was perfect for the family to enjoy quality time together but also able to spread out for solitary moments. The view and the back porch can’t be beat! »
