The property was not clean but asthetically it was neat. The host responded quickly. When we arrived access was relatively easy. We noticed the kitchen's main fixture was not working - we were in the dark. I called and he said he'd try to get someone to come out. It was day before Thanksgiving so I said it's okay, we figured out a way to light the kitchen. After I hung up it occurred to me that when I grabbed a living room standup lamp it was unplugged already and set to the side. Now I realize it was most likely used by the person who had the place before me and had also used it to light up the kitchen. Given that, it means this property owner was knowingly renting a property that had a kitchen with a clearly preexisting electrical issue and when I brought it to his attention - played like he didn't know. Super disappointing. We stayed because we had no other choice and had already spent close to 900 to stay at this property for 4 days; Wed thru Saturday.
