Contacted host multiple times about furnace not working. Normally, this would not be an issue but Florida is having unusually cold weather this year. Place is dirty. No shampoo, conditioner or body soap in any shower which we discovered while in shower.

We had to ask for towels, toilet paper and trash bags throughout our stay. There is a washing machine at the property, but it's not working so we had to go to a laundry mat to clean our clothes which was not ideal. The master bathroom tub faucet was broke. Then, they did not have any pots or pans that worked with the induction stovetop, so we had to ask for the correct pans to be delivered so we could cook at the property. We enjoyed taking nightly walks in the neighborhood. Location was convenient. It was a spacious house for our entire party. But they could definitely do some updates. Such as painting and flooring.

I want to start by mentioning things I misunderstood that aren’t the property manager’s fault but future guests should know. The location isn’t near the beach—it’s in a gated community with two gates and about a 25–30 minute drive to the ocean. The washer has been out of order since December 2024. While it’s not listed as an amenity, I assumed there would be one and packed accordingly. It might help to note on the listing that there’s no working washer. The layout is odd: two bathrooms are tiny, there’s a screened turf area with patio furniture that floods when it rains, and no dressers in any bedroom. Our room didn’t even have hangers or a rod to hang clothes, just dirty shelves.As for management issues: there are four bathrooms but only three showers, not as advertised. The bunk room shower didn’t drain, and one toilet broke near the end of our stay. The master bath had no hot water until I reached out. Someone named Chris called to inform us to run the cold first for 5 minutes and then switch to hot, which oddly fixed it. The induction stovetop only worked with a few beat-up pans, and the bar stools in the living room barely fit under the bar, so they couldn’t be used.For the price, we were disappointed. The house has potential but needs a deep clean and better upkeep. We have stayed at better more up-kept properties for less money. The pool was beautiful, clean, and heated—easily the best part of the stay.
Maybe roof the screened ceiling so this doesn’t flood?
Simplistically, if you can’t get the small things right (hanging photos straight) - how can you get the big things right?

Our stay at this property was overall a good one. The location was great, being that it was in a gated community, quiet, close to many places of interest and just off I95. We liked that the home's layout had ample areas for gathering whilst maintaining a closed door separation, providing added privacy, leading to the bedrooms.The property manager was responsive and sent someone to fix/adjust the sliding of the pocket door, check the ac that was not cooling on one side of the house and provided extra towels. The property can use some minor updates and as advertised, there is a dryer and no washer. There is a sign to not use the washing machine that's there. Also, there is actually only 3.5 bathrooms as the one off the kitchen has no shower.

Overall I would say this is a solid rental. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, pool area is nice. There were a couple amenities that were out of order that would have been nice to have, but we had a good stay.

Awesome Stay!!!

Beautiful home laid out nicely for families. Awesome pool, spacious, 2 living rooms and ample outdoor space. We had 10 people and it felt like 4 people because of how the home is designed.

I really wanted to like this house, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. While the location was quiet, and the space and pool were nice, several issues made our stay uncomfortable:Washing Machine: We arrived to find a "Do Not Use" sticker on the washer (from December 2024). Despite contacting the owners, we received no response for nine days. They could have proactively informed us, as we didn't pack enough clothes for the entire trip.Temperature Issues: The house had extreme temperature differences—freezing in the living area and hot in other rooms, despite adjusting the thermostat and using fans. The house needs better climate control.Unlabeled Steps: There were steps down in the sitting and family rooms with no labels, posing a fall hazard.Maintenance: The house had dirt stains, peeling paint, and scuff marks everywhere. It clearly hadn’t been maintained well.Cheap Supplies: No toiletries, tissues, or decent-quality paper goods. For this price, we expected more.Patio Door: The patio door was impossible to open due to wear and tear.Bugs: The kitchen had a bug infestation, which was gross.Dirty Dishes: Many dishes had dried food on them, indicating they weren’t properly cleaned.Overall, this property didn’t meet expectations, and we won’t be returning. The lack of space in this review does not allow us the ability to properly describe how awful this property condition is.

Aventura home

This was a great home in a gated neighborhood large enough to accommodate our group. The floor plan was spacious, and the backyard pool area was very nice. Traffic in Miami is terrible right now, so the fact that this home is close to everything you need really helped. There is easy access to I95, Aventura Mall within 2 miles, restaurants, and shopping everywhere.

Awesome house and location

Our stay was very pleasant, house is very spacious and clean. Great central location where you can get to Miami and Fort Lauderdale within 25 minutes each way. Very safe as it’s a gated community. We had no issues with our stay everything was perfect and the kids got to enjoy the pool everyday. Would definitely come back and recommend this house.

The main concern was that the house does not contain three en-suites as listed. It has two one being the master bedroom the other being the bunk bed room. There is one additional full bath located off the hallway and then a small powder bath with a sink and toilet only, no shower. The fifth bedroom is a garage that was converted to a bedroom. The air conditioning in this room did not work well. The rest of the house ac was fine. Our first full day we experienced a problem with the propane tank that we paid the additional fee for after reaching out we received one response to ask for the address of the property and after that nothing even after follow up. We could not use the grill our entire stay. I am still waiting for my refund. We enjoyed the pool and the kitchen was well stocked with gadgets for cooking however the house could use better pots and pans. Cleanliness and general maintenance throughout the house was an issue and routine pest control should be in place.

Spacious vacation home

This was a great property for two families. There was lots of comfortable living space and the pool was large enough for two families to enjoy! Loved the decor and palm trees in the back yard.

Very convenient location to be on and off I95. Large home with plenty of places to sleep and gather. Sleeping wing is separate from living areas and quiet. Outdoor area is spacious with large table and chairs under cover. This is in a gated community. However, there are some items that could use an update. While there are places to sleep 14, there aren’t enough towels for that many people. There are steps to living areas and behind the bar and One of the older folks fell during the stay. There are plenty of plates but not nearly enough silverware. Pots and pans are odd and worn out. Light switches are everywhere but need labels. Thermostat batteries died during our stay. I don’t think there was a pool filter or if there is one, it wasn’t running. The WiFi works fine in the sleeping side, but is unavailable in family room or outdoors. Much dead foliage around pool area.

Great place for families

We had a great visit with and this location was perfect. Because we had events during our stay in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and up the treasure coast it was ideal to stay here. We took advantage of the pool almost every day. This place is close to the beaches and easy access to stores in the area. Would love to stay again.
