We rented this house for a family weekend away. It was perfect for our needs. This house was clean and well maintained. The owners were updating parts of the house, but were doing so in a way that still felt comfortable for us to stay even though not everything was completed. Everyone in our group was complimentary about the house, both upon arrival and at check out.We have stayed in many VRBO homes and this one was by far the most well equipped for a trip. We had everything we needed for cooking all of our meals in the house. The kitchen was large and recently updated. The open concept kitchen allowed for whoever was in it to still participate in conversations and engage with the rest of the family. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms nice (with plenty of toilet paper). Our children particularly enjoyed the basement space to play and watch their own entertainment. The only note we have is that the room in the lowest level (with two bunk beds) felt quite far from the rest of the bedrooms. If you are planning on children sleeping in it, make sure they will be okay sleeping two floors away from most of the other bedrooms. The stairs going down to the basement are very steep. This is not a flaw or complaint, just a heads up.We visited in the winter, after snowfall. The only challenge we had was that the streets/sidewalks were not well cleared, which made for some difficult parking in the designated spots and requiring extra precaution entering.
