Booked based on 10/10 reviews. My experience matched the recent 2/10 review.Communication: Little communication from host. After requesting check-in info the day before, had to get VRBO to intervene 16 hours later. Host wouldn't send code until after cleaning was done - code came at exactly 4:30 PM check-in time while host was rushing to finish cleaning.Condition Upon Arrival: - Strong marijuana smell in building hallway - Odd smell throughout unit - Sheets had visible hairs, appeared slept in - Stains on pillow cases - Brown slime/mold on shower curtain - Only 3 towels for 3 guests, 3 days - no hand towels or washcloths - Grimy window sills - Broken kitchen blinds - no privacyMissing Amenities: - Zero K-cups despite listing photos showing fully stocked station - Could not locate advertised washer/dryer - No WiFi info providedSafety Issues: - Parking lot sheet of ice, untreated - Building door lock never set - anyone can enterHost Response: Messaged host next morning. Took 4 hours to respond. Host admitted sheets "definitely should have been replaced" and would bring supplies "in a few hours." Host is over an hour away - didn't resolve until after 8 PM.We immediately vacated on day one and did not stay. The 10/10 reviews don't reflect reality. The recent 2/10 is accurate - that guest also got a refund for same issues.
