„For us 33 Lake Terrace was the nicest hotel we stayed at during our time in Sri Lanka. The hotel is beautifully designed, the location at the lake is so peaceful and beautiful - simply amazing. On top of this Mr Panduka and the entire staff were exceptional, very discreet but always available and just very nice. „Fabulous stay in a really friendly Hotel. Room, swimming pool and grounds were beautifully clean. Great breakfast and quick laundry service. Nothing was too much trouble. A few minutes walk from the train station. Best of all, an adorable friendly cat who we got lots of cuddles with - we miss you!“

„Sijainti on erinomaisen hyvä niille, jotka tykkäävät varpaistella rannalla. Matkaa Hikkaduwan keskustaan noin 2 km. Tuktukilla vajaat pari euroa. Jos hotelli satsaisi enemmän tekstiilien pesemiseen (aamiaispaikka) ja lepotuolien pehmusteiden uudistamiseen, yleisilmeen saisi helposti miellyttäväksi. Liikenteen äänet häiritsivät aamulla neljän jälkeen kovasti, sillä huoneeni oli kadun puolella. Hinta-laatu kohtuullinen. Edellytykset paljon parempaan.“

Ontbijt beschikbaar en op zich goed.. maar traag gereserveerd en verkeerde volgorde. Eerst Fruit dan na 10 minuten het Ei, dan na 10 minuten de toast en de koffie en fruitsap pas na 40 minuten... Maar zou er zo weer terug keren... prima.“

„First they didnt find our Reservation - 1h waiting befor check-in. The food served was poorly prepared but the Staff is friendly. The worst part was not that we had Rats or Cockroaches in and around the Bungalows, not even the Flees in one of the Beds, its that they charge you 72$ per Night! “
