Good stay but pictures were very deceiving

When we first got there the house code didn’t work we were stuck out side 30-45mins trying to get it solved, customer care gave us a few different codes to try finally one worked but it took some time…horrible when u have to use the restroom after driving…House was clean, pool was filthy when we got there.. requested it to be cleaned and they were out first thing the next morning, however it should have been clean ready to go.. they had grilling utensils in the kitchen so we expected a grill.. no grill.. however they said they’d send one out never saw it.. there’s a pic of a doc in their pictures which make u think the doc was in the back yard, they need to explain that better it’s actually a half mile or so down the road if u want the lake u have to drive 12 miles or so to go to the beach again very deceiving if you have never been to the area.. over all once the pool was clean it was a good stay just deceiving on a few things..

Nice place to stay

This was a nice place to stay for the weekend. The check in progress was complicated by the sent access code not working. Communication via text message wasn’t very prompt, however when I called it was sorted out within 30-35 minutes with obtaining the key to the facility. Overall the home was clean but it was clear it had been empty a while, there were ants tracking through the patio door and the return vents and fans were a bit dusty. The pool had quite a bit of debris in it, the weather showed a previous storm but there were access to nets to clean some of it out. The kitchen only had one skillet so it made cooking breakfast at the home a little more difficult. The game room was excellent with darts, the table, and giant jenga! Quiet community with a very large deck and covered portion.

Worst ever!!!

Owner spies on you 24/7 with cameras inside and outside of property! Even caught the camera recording at one point. Unacceptable!!!! No amenities as listed in site. No hot water because hot water heater was turned to lowest setting however we were accused of having too many people take showers-1 person had taken shower in luke warm water. Pool is full of bugs and green with algae for not being treated. Owner and managing company were rude and threatening! A neighborhood dog came on property and we were threatened with police eviction for bringing a pet. Even after saying it wasn’t ours we were told we were lying! Will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED NO ONE ELSE RENTS THIS LOCATION!!!

Family Trip

This property has a ton of potential. At arrival we could not get in with our code and it was quickly rectified. The contact person was VERY reachable and helpful. We loved the seclusion and relaxation and the property worked pretty well for us. While you can tell the space has been renovated a couple of easy changes would really help this place. First, the pool has not been maintained well. When we arrived there was a lot of debris in the pool they were able to get someone out within an hour but the overall sides of the pool and some other components of the pool could use some serious TLC. Next, when I know a place has laundry I tend to pack less and plan to do one load. The washer is not working properly which caused some staining to my husbands white shirts and the property’s white towels. There were also small things like the darts for the dart board were broken, we had trouble getting hot water, and the couch is comfy but feathers are flying out of the pillows at all times. Overall, the property served us well and I would stay again but getting some of these things done would really knock this place out of the park!

Fathers Day Weekend

The kids had a blast in the pool and hiking/fishing at the lake. The pool had some debris when we first checked in. I messaged the attendant and it was cleaned within the hour. Very responsive! We had a great time!

Dirty house

Arrived and the code to the door was wrong. Had to call and try three codes before we got in. The house was dirty. Utensils had to be cleaned before use. The pool had a lot of pine needles and leaves.

Getaway at Lake Anna with pool!

Property is in quiet neighborhood with nearby access to the lake. Spacious and clean house & pool. Many extra indoor/outdoor amenities for adults & children! We highly recommend!!
