« Just what we needed while in Powhatan for a wedding. Tracy was very helpful and the house was perfect for us. »

« Myla is very nice and she keeps a beautiful garden. My only complaints are I was only given one bath towel and there wasn’t any extra to be found in the unit. I didn’t want to go upstairs to ask as it was very late when I discovered it. Also, the temperature was a bit cold for me and I didn’t see a thermostat. However, I’d stay again and just make sure I requested another towel and come with warmer clothing. Her house is very close to my best friend’s, and I visit a couple times a year. »

« We had 4 couples (and 8 kids) come together in this house. The house is super spacious and has tons of beds. The kids LOVED the movie room. The house is very pretty, easy to get to, and has access to insta-cart and restaurants close by (I say this only because there are parts of Lake Anna that have nothing close by). « Great location in Orange County Va farm land very close to many attractions and with in reach to Charlottesville for a day trip via country road route 20 ( no traffic lights). « Plenty of space, accurate listing. Be sure to read the portion around 3 of the bedrooms with breezeway entry if you have small kids. Great views and easy communication! When we stayed there was construction on both sides (the only downfall of trip)- otherwise, fantastic spot, great fishing and would return! »

« A group of us gathered for a bit of a staycation from the Richmond area. We had a ladies night on Friday and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better location!! Saturday we had some other friends join us for food on the water and it was the most relaxing setting for us to reset and connect. One tip would be to have more information about how the all TV's work - Instructions on starting the gas fire place, fixing the ice machine, and the one burner on the stove would be a plus and having all light fixtures working upon arrival. « We spent a wonderful weekend away at Ken’s lake house. We booked this just a week in advance so we could get away for Mothers Day weekend. The house was possibly the cleanest place that we’ve rented. We didn’t see any bugs or dog hair inside, even though it’s dog friendly and on the lake. « Base Camp D was once again the perfect gathering place for our family Thanksgiving celebration. The kids took over the basement (and hot tub) while the adults visited upstairs. Sitting on the porch next to the heater was perfect for reading, meditating, and intimate conversations. Our only glitch was the breaker throwing twice but maintenance came right away. « Getting to and from the lakehouse was a breeze, the location was perfect. Check-In was seamless and so was communcation with the property manager. The house had everything you'd need for the most part, plent of space for everyone to enjoy their time. « Our friends have been getting away once a year for the past 20 years and your home provided us with a relaxing and cozy home on the lake with beautiful views. There were some minor issues with breakers needing to be reset several times (primarily for the kitchen) and the breakers in the breaker box (behind the downstairs refrigerator) were not labeled.
