„Julie and Brad were great hosts. We didn’t know where to go when we got there but on the south west side of the house there is a driveway and parking spots available for guests. When we got there we figured out that it wasn’t a full kitchen in the space but they were very accommodating and actually made the breakfast that we had planned and brought for us. Super nice super accommodating. Pleasantly surprised with the pool table and all amenities. We will be booking this again in the future. ...

„Our stay was wonderful! It was so calm, peaceful, and relaxing. Yvette was so kind and helpful. The breakfasts were all super delicious. They had games for outside, and fishing, and we all had lots of fun hunting for fossils in the river. We were a little concerned about being in the same house and eating breakfast with the owners (with several rambunctious kids and several introverts) but they made us feel completely at home and comfortable. It is well preserved and has period wall coverings and ceilings including a gilded ceiling and a living room with course burlap over bright copper sheets. The bright copper was added in 1903 when electricity was installed. The wattage of the bulbs was low and the copper improved the light performance.
