I never complain or leave reviews but we come to Destin ever summer and have never had issues like this trip. Dryer was broken on arrival. We had to dry our clothes on the balcony all week, which ruined any black clothing we had. Owner offered once to dry our clothes, after me persistently asking what we were suppose to do. Apparently they assumed we did not need to wash or dry anything for a week. Not enough arm bands in the condo, had to ask for those as well. There is no broom to even attempt to sweep, not a drop of windex or anything to wipe tables with. Not to mention the place was not clean when we arrived. The cleaning lady was still there when we got to the condo, with her two children, one of which was a baby she kept having to stop and tend to which is probably why they were not finished by check in. It looked like they wiped the dust off from the previous family. The whole condo needs a deep cleaning from the floors to furniture to the cabinets. Dining room chair literally broke while my 85 yr old grandmother was sitting in it. For what we paid we should not have had any of these issues. I can not imagine that no other renters have not had the same issues or won't in the future. After the ongoing list of issues the property owner was aware of he not once offered any discount, asked I'd we needed any other clothes dried or anything.
Also, the cleaning lady text me the day before check out asking if we were leaving earlier because it would make it so much easier for them. That's not professional, we paid for our time there and did not feel welcome or taken care of. It has on the check out instructions to let them know when we leave which we planned to do.
Beach is public by the condo, it was so packed you could not even see the water unless you set your "tent" up at 7am. It being a public beach it was also not clean, trash was left everywhere by the end of each day.
