Dear guest, we are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay with us. Unfortunately you arrived outside of our listed arrival times and therefore our reception was closed and our out of hours team were in church. We do feature arrival times on our listing to try and prevent such situations but will look to make the information more readily accessible going forward. Thank you, Richard. I'm so glad you found us, despite the dark and that you had a comfortable stay. We will look at the directions given on the website to see if we can minimise this difficulty. Although we are on a main road and bus route, people sometimes say that SatNav led them down a cul-de-sac at the back of the monastery! We hope you will come again - the grounds are, indeed, beautiful in spring and summer.
