Desapointed by the food for such a 4 star hotel !!
Nice place and people really helpfull but unfortunattely the food is industrial. Juice said to be "fresh" is totally industrial and full of sugar, it's pitty for such an hotel and the price paid for the night. Despite the people are really nice, i will not come back there ...

What a place!
Absolutely stunning fairytale hotel set in beautiful grounds, with its own waterfall and everything. The place is a major tourist attraction in itself! Comfortable room, wonderful restaurant with great food. The only negative thing was the lack of elevators - there was only a single elevator, and stairs further up than the first floor were hard to find, resulting in waiting time for the single elevator. Other than that - incredible place!

We spent a lovely night at the Hunguest Hotel Palota. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both quite good with many selections. The hot chocolate drink selections in the lobby bar were amazing. The spa and various pools were heavenly and quite extensive. The location was very good for hiking the following day. We hiked for about 4 miles and never saw another person.

The hotel was a bit far from the city center, would have been great if there was hotel transportation service. Otherwise everything else was good.

Beautiful building but failed on everything else, wanted to like the hotel but too many bad points. Food at breakfast and dinner was terrible it was included in the price but the last night I didn't eat there because it was do bad. Sorry to say I will never go back.

A beautiful property with an interesting history. Staff were all wonderful and helpful. The food was also amazing. The area around the property is picturesque. Only complaint is that the equipment in fitness room was old, only partially functioning and in desperate need of upgrade/replacement.

Ingyen parkolás???
A reklámban és a visszaigazolásban többször is ingyenes parkolásról írtak. Mégis felszámoltak parkolási díjat. Mikor ezt kifogásoltam, akkor az volt a válasz: mi mindig fölszámítjuk a parkolást.

Quiet castle with modern amenities
The hotel is in a quiet and beauty area of Miskolc. The room is small but nice. I was staying there as a business traveller - unfortunately it is not possible to book the rooms without dinner.

The castle is beautiful from the outside and the location is beautiful, but the inside of the hotel needs major work. The room is not worth the price per night. Our room was not ready for 2 hours. This is unacceptable. Our rooms smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We were able to move rooms thankfully. We also had a lady bug infestation at the balcony and windows so we could not open them which made the room so hot and stuffy. There are no fans or air conditioning. This hotel is in the 2-3 star range. Maybe if the price was way lower then it would be more acceptable. This hotel has potential though to be much better down the road with some changes

Kiváló szálláshely.
Csodás 4 napot töltöttünk a szállodában. Mindent kielégitő kiszolgálás, kedves személszet. Nagyon finom ellátás. A környezet annyira csodás, hogy nem lehet kifejezni.Még visszatérünk.

The Jewel of the Bukk Forest.
Stunning location in the heart of the Bukk national park. The room was magnificent, clean and recently decorated. The bar area is nothing short of EPIC, we loved playing chess and watching the real fire. The food is marvellous with the best in Hungarian cuisine. The wellness Center is lovely and SOOO relaxing and peaceful. Simply superb.

Such a great place!
The interior among with the staff makes the atmosphere amazing. The food was delicious in every way and the buffet offered different meals every day. We were four friends that stayed together at this beautiful hotel and even though this is the perfect place for romance we also had a lot of things to discover in, and around the hotel, such as the old train around the national park, the lake, the lava caves under the building and massage, spa and bowling at the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Palota. The hotel itself is beautiful and has lots to do nearby. The terrace and gardens are absolutely beautiful. The spa area is impressive! Lots of pools and sauna rooms to enjoy. There is also a pretty good fitness room which had a good variety of equipment. Our room was good; however, we requested a king bed but received a double. Some of the staff were helpful and polite but we did encounter a couple that were not. In the spa and dining rooms staff would start to kick you out 10-15 minutes before the closing time. It's one thing to give a reminder but something else to actually make you leave early. The dinner buffet was ok. The selection and quality/taste leaves something to be desired. The breakfast buffet however was very good. Lots of variety of cereals, fruit, yogurts, meats (hot and cold), cheese and eggs. We actually looked forward to our breakfast every morning!!

An unforgettably beautiful place.
Yes. It is as amazing as it looks in the pictures. Just a beautiful old building surrounded by almost storybook like grounds. I'm surprised I haven't seen it used in movies.Excellent breakfast and dinner buffets. Nice spa. Only complaint is no AC, however this would only be an issue during the hottest of summer days.

Sehr schönes, grosses und schlossähnliches Hotel direkt an einem See gelegen. Schöne, grosse und gepflegte Parkanlage. Frühstück (reggeli) und Nachtessen (vacsora) reichhaltige und feine Buffets. Ebenso gepflegter Wellnessbereich mit Schwimmbad. Parkplatz grosszügig und gratis. In der näheren Umgebung interessante Ausflugziele (Höhle, Zoo, historische Bahn, div. Spazieranlagen mit Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten und Souvenirständen. Zimmer schön und gepflegt. Gesamteindruck: altehrwürdiges Hotel mit Charme :-). Preisniveau jedoch an der oberen Grenze. Fantastisk upplevelse
Otroligt vackert hotell i en otroligt vacker miljö. Tyvärr hade vi bara en natt, men kommer mer än gärna tillbaka. Middagsbuffen på hotellet var god och vällagad och personalen var bra. Spat var en riktigt trevlig upplevelse, men bäst av allt är helheten med det vackra hotellet, den vackra miljön kombinerat med spa, god mat och dryck och en underbar atomsfär.
