« Nice location but other things pretty disappointing, Our room, the bed was located right by the door. Noise was right there so it felt like I was laying out in the hallway. There was a wedding and reception which was going to be noisy (understandable) but 11 pm kids running up and down the hallway screaming and slamming doors. I called the place from my cell phone and asked if that was part of the experience I was supposed to have. No apology from him. I did not call angry, I was very polite....

« We enjoyed having the entire mansion to ourselves during our midweek stay. The public rooms are elegant. The Lincoln Bedroom was well appointed and the mattress and pillows were comfortable. We appreciated having plenty of towels. We hope to come back. »

« Beautiful home within walking distance of Missouri Star Quilt Company. Spacious and comfortable with great parking. Extremely comfortable place for my husband to spend time while I shopped! I would definitely stay here again next time I visit »

« Property is well worn but the comfort and coziness more than makes up for any deficiencies. It was quiet and extremely comfortable »

« This place is awesome! My wife and I both like the architecture and design of this house. The attention to detail is everywhere you look! The added bonus of hearing the gentle sound of a train in the distance just added to the ambience and feel of that time period when this house was first built. It was very charming and we can’t wait to visit again! »

« We got this room last minute as another hotel overbooked and cancelled our reservation on us. They were very accommodating. It was an adorable room in an adorable town. The room was old fashioned, but well maintained. We had two balconies. The staff were extremely friendly. It was right next to a train station so we loved hearing the trains coming and going. »
