This pet-friendly retreat is perfect for couples, families, and guests travelling with their furry companions.
This 157-square-foot off-grid tiny home features a lofted queen bed, a ground-floor couch, a pot-bellied stove, and a well-equipped kitchenette with cooking essentials and a portable electric cooler. The eco-friendly bathroom includes a compost toilet, hand basin, and a gas-heated shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
- Other guests may be staying in nearby residences on the property.
- This off-grid tiny house runs on solar power, so please use electricity mindfully.
- Please let the host know your expected arrival time in advance so they can safely secure the guard dogs before your arrival.
- We are a working farm, so you may encounter our friendly resident and livestock guardian dogs during your stay. Please contact us if you need any assistance.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and the surrounding areas, including the front garden and tennis court. Additionally, we would like to remind guests that our tiny home promotes sustainable living in nature.
If you're interested, pick-ups and drop-offs in town can be arranged with your host with at least 24 hours' notice.
The Neighborhood:
Deep Creek Sunset by Tiny Away sits in the quiet suburbs of Monegeetta, on the easternmost point of the beautiful Macedon Ranges. The ideal farm stay is best known for its expansive native forests, iconic geographical attraction, and artisan food, and wine industries. There is also a good swimming area down the creek.
For outdoor adventures, hike Camel’s Hump for stunning views over Hanging Rock, or enjoy the pram-friendly walking trail through Hanging Rock Reserve, where you can admire the local flora and fauna. While you're there, don't miss Hanging Rock Winery and the popular Summit Walk.
When it's time to eat, visit local favourites like Kuzu Izakaya, Verdure Bistro for brunch and coffee, or Holgate Brewhouse, a family-owned brewery in Woodend that has been serving craft beer since 1999.
Getting Around:
By car: 10 mins to Romsey
28 mins to Woodend
30 mins to Kyneton
25 mins to Hanging Rock
30 mins to Mount Macedon.
By public transport: Southern cross station to Clarkefield station (about 10 mins away). You can arrive by taxi or arrange for us to pick you up at the station.
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please be advised that we have cattle on our property
- Solar-powered with a small fan provided. Policies and reminders will be sent before booking
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Pet-friendly – An additional fee of $30 per pet, per stay is payable at check-in. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. The full pet policy will be provided before your stay.

- Outdoor fire pits are available, except during a total fire ban.
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
