« Charming place, very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed. The beautiful jacuzzi was wonderful. My only suggestion would be that having to wash the towels would have added an extra hour delay to our departure time. Robert was kind enough to let us leave before the wash was done. I think the laundry is something best done by the host. I had a 5 star casita in Taos, and I would never have asked my guests to do the laundry! We loved the place however, and have booked it twice again. ...

« We were overall impressed by the house and the property at Big Bear Lodge. Wanting to escape the heat, we chose it for the lawn and the home layout and were not disappointed. The kids had a scavenger hunt on the property and everyone had space to spread out and enjoy the inside of the home. Lots of sunlight and a very cozy living room. We enjoyed smores and the backyard firepit and relaxing on the back deck. Be sure to bring your own toiletries as there was no soap or shampoo in the showers...

« Great house & very clean! Lots of fun things to do with your family - game room, fire pit and a cool hammock. Only complaint was excessive noise from neighborhood dogs (which was not the owner’s fault at all!) A wonderful place to stay! »

« Enjoyable stay. It was clean and yard was a great plus for our pets. I was glad there was kitchen condiments- salt, pepper, storage bags, etc. I wish there was a slider door to back yard from bedroom because front yard faces a Main Street and can be noisy at times. I recommend this VRBO as Ron was very responsive to any issue we may have had. Plenty of refrigerators too. »

« We were in town for a youth baseball tournament and made a long weekend of it. The mountain retreat was the perfect place to stay!! It was steps away from the park, and close to everything (dining, stores, etc). Great closely wishing at Fools Hollow and just a short drive from Rainbow lake, our favorite Fishing spot. The house was perfect for our small family, we could’ve had a couple more and been just as comfortable. It is updated nicely and very comfortable. We will definitely try to stay...
