House on right looking down, little to close. but during the week, no neighbors, very private. « The space is wonderful. Especially the linens/towels/comfy bed. We didn’t use the hot tub. We thought the backyard space, while quiet and private was a bit unkempt but okay. The path into the cottage gives the feeling of walking into another world which we loved. The location is a stones throw from town, with everything we needed! »

« We had a much too brief stay, but what a lovely cottage in the most gorgeous setting. It has the feel of an old-school cabin but all the conveniences of a modern home. We especially loved the eclectic and plentiful selection of books. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. Lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the rushing creek nearby. A great base to explore all the glorious hiking in the area. We'll definitely be back! »

« This cottage is perfect! Clean and comfortable, with every amenity covered, with such lovely touches as fresh flowers and farm-fresh eggs! The highlight was the view from the overlook -- breathtaking in the late spring and probably every season! Maureen is a perfect host -- precise directions and instructions, and a level of thoughtfulness that goes above and beyond. I look forward to staying there again! »

« We had an excellent stay at Herb Cottage. It was charming and homey. Check in was simple, guidelines clear. Lots of privacy which was great! I will say that although you could walk to downtown Woodstock, there are no sidewalks and I personally would not have felt safe walking down the road to town, especially since there is little shoulder. »

« We had a wonderful time staying at Hill House on Hubert. It is a lovely house with everything you need for a romantic getaway or a fun weekend away. The decor is contemporary with cozy accents. « My family stayed here with our dog for one night. I wish we could have stayed longer! The cottage was immaculate, cozy, and welcoming. We had the pleasure of speaking with the host Debbie, and she was lovely! We didn’t get to use the fire pit area, but we enjoyed the view of the pond. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and other necessities, and the beds were comfortable for a solid night’s rest. We hope to stay here again in the future! »
