Maison bien située
Maison bien située, chambres spacieuses. Nous n’avions pas compris que la piscine était séparée de la maison par une route . Porte et portail à ouvrir et fermer à chaque passage .Douches de certaines chambres très étroites . Il n’y a que 4 chambres et non 5 .

Very disappointing
The owners were very unpleasant, they called the police a few hours after our arrival when we took a shower at 2am and told us to leave the house the next morning. They switch off all lights (terrasse) at 11pm. The description of the property doesn’t mention that it’s cut in half by a road. Some of the swimming pool chairs are broken as well as some chairs. The pool wasn’t cleaned during the week. The pool shower doesn’t work and there is no toilet and no umbrellas. Cooking was challenging because the kitchen is very minimalistic. It was hot and most of the fans in the rooms were broken. The wifi is weak. We have been renting villas for 18 years but we have never experienced such a welcome and lousy conditions! It is the first time we publish a negative review.

QUE DU BONHEUR
Un endroit top et paisible dans la campagne Toscane, à proximité de Sienne. Un très bel accueil et un beau sourire tout le long de notre séjour de la part d'Alessandra et Emanuele toujours disponibles pour donner de bon conseils avant notre arrivée et pendant notre séjour . Une maison très agréable avec une grande piscine et de belles chambres toutes équipées de salle d'eau. Cette demeure convient parfaitement à des groupes de 8, 10 personnes. On a eu durant notre séjour un cours de cuisine par Gracia que tout le monde a aimé. Merci pour ce moment magique A bientôt

Perfect Tuscany Stay
This villa is a dream. You really feel like you’re in a Disney castle in the home and in the little village! Our hosts were so easy to communicate with and so patient with us as we arrived much later than planned. They even went to great lengths to try and help us find food upon arrival because our kids were starving. It’s a fantastic location if you plan to take day trips all over Tuscany. It was nice to be centrally located so we could head out to Florence, San Gimignano, Lucca, and Pisa and only have about an hour or a little over an hour drive to each place. I would definitely stay here again.

A little piece of paradise with our family
From the time we checked in, our hosts Alessandra and Emanuele could not have been more friendly or helpful. They even had us follow them to the local grocery store so we wouldn’t get lost! The villa is very well equipped and in the perfect position for day trips around Tuscany. The pool area was beautifully maintained and we spent many happy hours swimming with our young grandchildren. Alessandra cooked us an amazing four course meal to celebrate our birthdays. The food was fantastic! Thank you Alessandra and Emanule for sharing your beautiful villa with us.

We’ve recently returned from a wonderful week in Stove Nr Monteriggioni. The owners Emanuele & Alessandra made us feel very welcome throughout our stay & their trips & restaurant recommendations were excellent. The weather was hot so the fresh water pool got used every day & it was a favourite for all our inflatables or just chilling out. We would love to come back & explore the region more as the nearby villages are sleepy, it’s like going back in time. We would highly recommend this Villa to anyone as it’s location is just wonderful & the views of Tuscany breath taking.

Wonderful place for a family gathering
10 of us happily stayed at the Villa where each room had its own bathroom and all enjoyed time by the beautiful pool. It’s in a small village of Strove with short drives to Monteriggioni, Abaddia Isola, medium drives to Sienna, Volterra, and San Gimigiano and totally reasonable day trips to regions south of Sienna or north to Florence. View from the bedroom windows and back patio are simply lovely and the hosts were wonderful and so welcoming!

Überaus angenehmes Paar, dass das Anwesen vermietet. Zudem ist Alexandra eine wunderbare Köchin.
Entspannt, leider war das Wetter schlecht. Alles hätte gestimmt! Gerne wieder an diesem Ort. Die Vermieter waren äusserst hilfbereit und für Tips jederzeit auskunftsbereit.

The best stay
The property was beautiful and just as listed. The setting is a 13th century stone house, with a patio, and in the summer, a pool. It is situated in the small village of Strove, near Monteriggioni and close to Siena. There is a lovely restaurant in the village, along with a small cafe/deli/grocery store, a short walk away. Our hosts, Emanuele and Allessandra, are the most wonderful people you’ll ever meet. They arranged a cooking class for us, which was such great fun, and Allessandra made aprons for each of us. One of our family sustained an injury in Rome, right before we arrived in Strove, and Emanuele and Allessandra took her to the hospital, where they knew the doctor, and translated for her. It is hard to know how to repay such kindness and generosity - so thank you once again! We highly recommend staying here, for a wonderful experience in the Tuscan countryside.

Alessandra and Emanuele are outstanding, gracious and accomodating hosts. The villa is steeped in history. The grounds are lovely with amazing views and a beautiful pool area. Only negatives were exceptionally hard beds and very rough bed linens. We enjoyed an excelllent dinner in the villa cooked by Alessandra. Wifi needs improvement. Highly recommend this accommodation.

The most amazing property!
My family of 6 stayed here for a week in August and it was just wonderful. Firstly, Emanuele & Alessandra are just the sweetest couple and were there to guide us from the beginning to the end of our stay. The house is gorgeous and huge, with the most spectacular views. I woke up each morning and just stared at the view from my balcony. The pool is also amazing! It is like having a resort pool all to yourself, my children wanted to be in it all the time, but we were out exploring Tuscany each day. This house is in the perfect spot to explore all of Tuscany, we drove to Pisa, Florence, Montepulciano and my favorite place was San Gimignano; such special, beautiful places,. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful home again.

Wir waren gemeinsam mit Freunden (4 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder/Jugendlichen) zwei Wochen in Monterrigioni/Strove) und haben einen traumhaften Sommerurlaub verlebt. Das Haus ist wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet, der Pool groß und toll angelegt und die Gastgeber sind unglaublich nett, hilfsbereit und trotzdem diskret. Die Umgebung bietet die Möglichkeit zu schönen kleineren und größeren Ausflügen, zu denen einem Alessandra und Emanuele gerne Tipps geben. Ich kann dieses wundervolle Urlaubsdomizil nur weiterempfehlen!

Beautiful large house in lovely location.
We loved our place. There was so much room for the price. Yes the showers are tiny, but they prepared us for that. The pool area and the view are by far the best part of this place. I was slightly concerned the kitchen would be too small, but it worked perfectly for our family. We were in a central area where we could easily drive to many places in Tuscany. Only suggestion is new fluffy pillows, but I realize that a very American request. Lovely hosts with so much valuable info. Thank you for the stay. Better than expected.

Beautiful historic house and large additional garden with great pool
Fantastic location in a hidden lovely restored hamlet. Great views and close to Siena, Monteriggione, San Gimigiano, Volterra… Separate garden (you habe to cross a small road) with amazing pool and barbecue area. The house itself is a historic building with four separate bed- and bathroom units. Very friendly and helpful owners. Would love to come again.

PARADISE SERENITY!
This home is a hidden gem of Tuscany. Within the quiet hamlet of Strove, it boasts many modern conveniences disguised in old world charm. Our group of 6 adults (3 couples) thoroughly enjoyed our time at this idyllic retreat as we cooked at home with Grazie, sunned by the freshwater Roman style pool, took in wine & lunch tours and local sights, and enjoyed spending time together all the while relishing our own space! Alessandra & Emanuele have perfected being involved with their guests while allowing them the space to really savour all that their beautiful Tuscan Villa has to offer, and we thank them sincerely for their gracious hospitality!

We had a fantastic week at this place in Strove, with beautiful pool to hang-out and perfectly situated in Tuscany to visit all the nice places around - everything within an hours drive! Magnificient and beautiful property
We left this great property after 14 days and a memorable family experience - 9 People, 1 child, 3 Young People, grand parents and parents. The beautiful villa had a perfect size for our family with adequate facilities. The pool and the garden are fantastic and we recognize a lot of efforts with maintenance to keep the whole prorperty at such an excellent standard. The place is perfect for many very nice trips within a short distance and the owner gave us several good advices on where to go. We also received interesting information from the owner in good time before we arrived that gave us nny ideas for planning our holidays. The village is small and very nice with fresh bread every morning in the bakery at the corner. We all enjoied our stay so much and look very much forward to come back to Tuscany at another occation.

Beautiful Hamlet
Georgius peaceful town of Strove in Tuscany. Would highly recommend this property. Owners Emmanuel and Allesandra are great hosts. My family of six had a fabulous 7 day adventure in the Tuscany region. Won't go wrong with this location is also great for getting around.

Perfect Tuscany Villa for Large Group
Our visit to this beautiful property was everything we could have hoped for. Our hosts, Emanuele and Alessandra, could not have been more helpful. They communicated with us prior to the trip to answer all of our questions, and then greeted us at check-in to provide a comprehensive walk-through and orientation to the property. They have lovingly created a space that is warm and welcoming, both inside and out. The property location was excellent, allowing us to experience the peace of life in a small hamlet while still having easy access to an excellent local restaurant and cafe, as well as day trips all around Tuscany. The pool and surrounding gardens with their hilly views made for an ideal location to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. Oh, and the catered meal we requested (at additional charge) was delicious, especially Alessandra's tiramisu - not to be missed! We hope to return to explore the area further on a future trip.

Loved our stay. Emanuelle and Alessandra were great hosts. We had a delicious welcome dinner on the first eve. They guided us to excellent local restaurants and gave us a great a contact for a local cycling trip. they have all the best contacts. The location could not have been more ideal for visits to all the towns. we loved the little coffee shop across the street from the villa. A Truly Wonderful Experience - Thank You
What a beautiful home and what what great people! A wonderful stay. The property and grounds were a dream come true. From the wonderfully restored living spaces to the fantastic pool and grounds this place was a real gem. The hosts advice and help added to the whole experience. Excellent early communication including detailed directions to the property and plenty of help and suggestions during our stay added to the experience. An excellent location for touring the Florence, Sienna region with a small local store for essentials within a few minutes walk. The pool was complete with changing area and towels plus some games equipment. Bed sheets were cotton and not synthetic. Views were amazing. The total package.
