slept like a log.
Really nice, modern inn with large dining rooms, large clean and comfortable rooms. I slept like a log, normally don't in hotels, will buy myself a couple of their pillows.

This is the 2nd time we have stopped here, both times the staff were extremely helpful and polite, the food was excellent value for money and the pub and rooms were faultless, can’t wait to stop here again

Good location, large rooms
Great location, large rooms however we were able to hear the neighbours bathroom. Staff helpful, good breakfast buffet and free drinks if you choose not to have your room serviced if staying longer than one night. General cleaning needs addressing, rubbish left outside a room near us was there for 2 days, some sweet wrappers were on the landing floor for 4 days. Room was clean.

The situation was not what I expected. It is on an industrial estate,and although not noisy there is no pleasant outlook and half an hours walk to the sea.

Everything was good
We were a group of 6 visiting to play golf in the region and all enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good, we ate in the restaurant one evening which was also spot on. I couple of times it took a while to get served at the bar but the staff were always friendly and accommodating, we’d stay again

The Amble Inn once we found it was in a very convenient position for sight seeing. one criticism The post code did not function for us so we were given the post code for Morrisons which worked well.

Excellent service and location would stay again.
Lovely hotel and dog friendly. My friend and I stayed for 4 nights for a girlie get away. Staff very friendly and helpful. Receptionist Molly was lovely so were the other members of the team but I forgot to ask their names. Good location for access to main roads for travelling to visit local attractions. Amble is a nice small town with good restaurants. Food at hotel was good, not an extensive fancy menu but good and a range to suit most people. Breakfast excellent with juice, cereals, and hot food on offer. We had a room on the ground floor at the rear with an exit door so easy to park outside the room. Room had everything you need. Loved the free drink offer if you didn't have your room cleaned everyday. This was well received and we took full opportunity and tidied our own room everyday (not difficult) so took full advantage of this offer each night. The drinks allowed are not restricted either so well done 'The Inn Collection Group'. Apart from a food delivery one morning it was very quiet as this was not at an ungodly time of the morning it was not a problem. It would have been nice to have residents sitting area as the restaurant was noisy if you just wanted to sit and chat with a drink instead of going to your room however this doesn't detract from my overall score. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Northumberland.

Our chips were undercooked and wwe saw someone else returning their food too. No muffins available at breakfast even Hugh they are on the Inn Collection standard breakfast menu.. Room was spacious and comfortable

Get proper post code.
This didn't start well. Spent about 2 hours driving round looking for the place. Got their phone number on google, it turns out we had been given the wrong post code when booking. The bar was busy and staff ignored us, didn't even say 'sorry to keep you, someone will be with you in a minute'. Eventually got our key. The room was clean and tidy, but the shower had mould in the corners and along the door grooves. This seems to be a common problem in most hotels - come on, there's plenty of products around to get rid of it! Choice of breakfast was ok but didn't have any salmon for the eggs royale which, of course, I would have liked. It's an ok place to get your head down, but I wouldn't stay for any length of time.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. All our requests were attended to. Room well presented and spacious. Bed very comfortable seemed to be a super kingsize. Everything in room that we needed. Breakfast had a good selection. Evening meal was a little limited for us but the Pizza Deal was a good choice and very nice. There were alot of people in the dining room with dogs on our last breakfast there but the dogs were very well behaved (except one who couldnt stop barking - owners fault). They were all nearest to the entrance so not really a problem and there was plenty of room to sit at the other side. Amble a small village not far away but we drove to it. The Amble Inn was a good base to get around the area. A very reasonable priced petrol station just a couple of minutes away and also one at Morrisons Supermarket a minute further on. Only drawback really was nothing much around the place to do in an evening.

A very clean, well equipped hotel. The bar and food were good, the rooms very big and comfortable. The location of the hotel was slightly misleading as it was just outside the town on a light industrial park by the side of the road. This was fine for us as we were using it as a base to discover the area but if you are expecting a picturesque location it may not meet your needs. The staff were excellent and we were well taken care of.

Once we found the hotel due to there being various post codes, none correct!! It was a near perfect stay, to be recommended. Note the location is not town centre as per one of the post codes. This did not spoil our stay. The location was safe and quiet.

A convenient one night stopover whilst driving from Aberdeenshire to Derbyshire. It was easy to find and just a one mile walk each way to get to the marina. Some ground floor rooms have a motel style door so that you can park and load up, which was handy. Breakfast was good with plenty of cooked options. Could have had more fresh fruit if anything.

Very comfortable
Staff were really nice and helpful. Room and bar/restaurant had a nice atmosphere and comfortable. Only down aside was we came down to breakfast at 8.40am and cooked breakfast was cold, very goood choice though. Room was on the ground floor and unfortunately the blind and curtain left a gap which could of been embarassing! Had to tie the curtain around the ajoining door handle to block it out. Otherwise a very nice stay and will revisit next time we are in the area.
