Im Winter sollte man auf jeden Fall einen Allradantrieb haben, um das Haus sicher erreichen zu können. Wir haben beide Skigebiete ausprobiert und fanden Smugglers Notch noch schöner als Stowe.“

„Our 3rd year returning to this wonderful home in Calais! The close proximity to Montpelier and Stowe is a blessing, but the best part is hitting that dirt road on the way to the house. The community is so welcoming, always offering a wave or a smile. The house is situated on a gorgeous piece of land, walking distance to Curtis Pond. We snowshoed the quarter mile down to the pond through 2 feet of pure VT powder - identifying animal prints amongst the birch trees in the snow along the way. Our ...

„Comfortable stay. Kitchen was equipped for basic cooking. Everything was as advertised except we didn’t find a toaster and apple screen mirroring to the TV couldn’t connect. Good all weather tires were needed to access with snow on the roads getting to the cabin. Also we found no AT&T cell service at the cabin but good WiFi once inside.
