Full RV Hook-up, DOCK, The Baker View House

Full RV hookup and space for tents make it perfect for multi-family stays. Enjoy stunning views of Big Lake and Mount Baker from this peaceful retreat with private lake access, dock, and a beach with gentle sandy entry. This 3-bedroom, one bath home sleeps 6 and sits on a large yard with mature fruit trees. Pick pears, blueberries, figs and more! Bird lovers will love the bird-watching tower and feeders. Play yard games, roast marshmallows by the fire, relax on the swing, or explore by kayak. Fire up the barbecue grill on the deck and enjoy outdoor meals with beautiful lake and mountain views.

The Space
This single-level home features an open concept layout that connects the kitchen, living room, and dining area into one bright, welcoming space. It’s perfect for relaxing, cooking, and spending time together as a group. The living area includes glass French doors that lead to a deck with beautiful views of the spacious yard and Big Lake, making it a great spot for morning coffee or evening sunsets. Just off the kitchen, the mudroom offers added convenience with a full-size fridge, a separate beverage fridge, and a washer and dryer. The home has three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own closet, and one bathroom with a full bathtub.

Guest Access
Guests have full private access to the entire property with the exception of one locked closet in the kitchen and the garage/shop. Enjoy the house, spacious yard, beach, dock, bird-watching tower, and all outdoor amenities without sharing the space. Whether you're relaxing on the deck, playing in the yard, picking fresh fruit, or setting up an RV or tent, the entire property is yours to enjoy during your stay.

We will need to access the garbage container on or before trash day, which is collected on Tuesdays. We work closely with a pest control company that may need to access the exterior of the house. We will do our best to schedule these appointments to ensure that your stay is not interrupted.

There is a $100 per day fee for the use of RV hookups. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring an RV so we can prepare accordingly. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to hosting you!

Getting There
The property is conveniently located about 1 hour 30 minutes from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), 1 hour from Everett Paine Field (PAE), and approximately 45 minutes from Bellingham International Airport (BLI). Close to downtown Mount Vernon yet feeling peaceful and tucked away, Big Lake offers the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure.

A: Absolutely! We’re happy to host long-term stays. They can be booked in 28-day increments, with check-in and check-out on the same weekday each time. We offer a monthly discount for longer stays as well—just send me a message if you'd like more details.
