« We loved our 7-night stay at Hilltop vacation rental! We had the economy room with a view of the ocean and it was very cool to wake up to the sun rising. The room was clean, there was a shower and bathroom and all of the necessary essentials for our stay—coffee maker, small fridge, etc…The parking was a bit tight, but our rental Jeep fit into the parking spots! It was a quiet and peaceful stay. Would definitely recommend! »

« If you are a backcountry camper, this is for you! The hut is situated in primitive setting of rain forest. You can imagine a big tent but in wood sitting in the woods. I like the nature surrounding and the art deco. However, lack of electricity and a modern bathroom is a big downside. The host is friendly, responsive, and helpful. However, descriptions of the property and instructions to the property aren't sufficiently clear. »

« A mon arrivée j'avais précisé que la note avait été réglée, pour payer les éventuels repas ou petits déjeuners, j'ai laissé l'empreinte de ma carte de crédit. Le lendemain de mon arrivée le montant du séjour a été à nouveau prélevé. J'ai eu des frais et le montant prélevé n'a pas été totalement remboursé... Très désagréable d'autant plus que le budget est à respecter. Difficile à trouver peu d'indications, faut avoir un gps et encore !!!! »

« Das Gästehaus ist für den Preis sehr empfehlenswert, da die Preise für Unterkünfte, selbst auf der Hilo-Seite von Big Island sehr hoch sind. Dementsprechend haben wir gewertet. Man darf für diesen Preis allerdings nur entsprechende Erwartungen haben. Viele Hawaiianer leben in ähnlichen Situationen. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sehr sauber. Es liegt allerdings im Regenwald und bietet keine weiteren Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten. Es liegt ca. 15 Minuten von der Hauptstraße 11 (Hilo-Vulkan-Kona) entfernt...

We weren’t in the house much, we would leave early in the morning and come back late at night and we couldn’t have found a better place. « Impossible to beat the proximity to Volcanos NP. The price point is fantastic relative to similar properties. The rooms were clean and well stocked with anything you might need. Welcome treat was a great touch. The property itself was cool and definitely decorated in a unique, cool manner. But what made this place excellent were the hosts, Joy and John, who clearly want your stay to be great. And ours was. »

« Quiet and breezy. There is a/c but we didn't need to run it and could hear the birds chirping most of the day. Plenty of room for two people with a standard sized refrigerator, king bed, good storage for clothes, etc. We stayed here a few years ago when it first became a rental, and the years and guests haven't been kind to the property. Everything is showing wear and tear. The lanai is private and gets a good breeze but the wicker furniture is starting to split in several places. Towels are...

« We had a fabulous stay and absolutely loved the cabin's lanais, all the natural light, the kitchen, propane fireplace, open concept, and wood features. The cabin was easy to get to and the access road is well maintained. We enjoyed cooking dinners every night and even enjoyed some cocktails out on the lanai using the stemware provided. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! »

« The location of Jade Oasis is perfect for the Park! It is close enough that you can split your day and have a morning and evening visit. The room was super clean and the bed was great. The homemade muffins were a nice touch. I would come back! »
