« What a lovely surprise! As responsible pet owners travelling with our pooch, we have grown to reluctantly accept second-rate rooms and substantial extra nightly cost to have him with us at "pet friendly" motels. Not so here! Modern well maintained rooms, a genuine welcome for us and Rusty, and a beautifully restful environment away from the Hume Fwy trucks! What's more, we enjoyed a hearty and tasty meal at the pub next door. We are definitely making this our new Melb/Sydney road trip overnight...

« I’ve stayed at this place before and had a great experience. This time I found the cleanliness of the room wasn’t as good. There had been someone with muddy boots in there previously and had left marks on the carpet which had not been cleaned properly. The sheets were clean but the bed had been made roughly with not all areas of the sheets tucked in. Disappointing considering how good my previous stay had been. »

« On check in, the reception area smelt like dog and the receptionist was covered in dog hair. No smile or welcome. We felt like we were an inconvenience. The cabin was lovely but not very clean and most of the down lights did not work. We stayed for 2 nights and it was average. Such a shame as it has nice views and was quiet. The new bathroom would be improved with some shelving or somewhere to place toiletry bags and a shower caddy or shelf where shampoo, soap etc could be placed, as they had to be put on the shower floor and bending down to reach them is challenging for seniors with restricted mobility.
