When I first got there I had already received an email prior stating that how I would get in was in the email. However when I opened the link, it said that the host had not put in that information. It was after 1030 when I arrived and if I would not have gotten an answer right away I would not have been able to get in. Once inside we noticed that it was not cleaned very well. This was very disappointing because one of the reasons I chose the place was because of its rating for cleanliness. However our feet were super dirty just from walking on the bare floors and the refrigerator inside was dirty, inside the microwave was dirty, and there were hairs on the side of the tub in the bathroom. There were bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower with barely anything in them. There was caked residue from hem in the shelves. With it being this late I had to clean it myself because I didn’t want to be in an unclean area. The following day I got a message from the house stating that the cleaning crew could come back out and re-clean. At this point, they didn’t do the job well in the first place, I don’t want anybody else in the place now that were there with all of our things, and I already cleaned everything so I’m not sure what they’d be doing. I could not get the cleaning fee refunded and the host would not refund any amount of the rental fee. When there is a cleaning fee, one would expect to find a clean and sanitized place as the website said it would be.
