Neighborhood- Was scared when we first arrived (GPS) took us down a questionable side street, in a middle of some sort of bust with cops everywhere., which was across from the parking garage.
Hotel lobby- where elevators are smelled like pee! The pool was NOT heated (December)
Parking- Is a hassle, (garage) especially if you have top luggage. It is a block away from the “hotel” so loading and unloading is a headache!
We ended up “parking” in the Starbucks lot to load up before leaving. Garage was gross! Felt like I needed a shower after walking through.
Room- Do not even attempt if you have a bad back! The main bed was awful! In dipped down in the middle badly! The room cleanliness was decent but could have used a deep clean of the floors. Dining table chairs were coming apart, husband had to break out his tools to tighten screws. The main thing is that the listing does not mention the third bedroom is a “teen suite” or in-law suite and is totally separate! There is a main door then the suite in that foyer and then another locked door to the main apartment. They had doors propped open with cardboard because door stops did not work. We could never get them to stay propped open. We paid for three rooms but only used the two in the main apartment, thankful that the couch was a sleeper. Not even my teens wanted to stay in the separate room!
Overall if I knew that the “apartment” was in a hotel we would NOT have booked! Would have spent my money on a nicer place…
Communication was fair at best… asking for a 5 star review repeatedly is not professional (even posted in room) do the maintenance first before expecting a rave review. Reviews or for honesty… and helping others to decide if the place works for them.
We would NOT book again.
