For starters, check in was a bit confusing. I got a $460 charge and wasn’t even told what it was for until I asked. The clerk appeared confused and I asked if it was incidentals and she just shook her head yes. Couple of hours later I was told sinceI had booked through Expedia they would reverse the charge by the next morning. Confused again. Had my service dog so a little later I was approached to now sign a dog document. The staff however was nice! It was just a confusing check in. The room was just ok. Beds are EXTREMELY hard and uncomfortable which made us decide not to stay an extra night like we wanted to to spend more time seeing the beach. Couldn’t take the back pain another night and day. The room never got cool enough even setting the a/c as low as it would go. Had to be around 75 the whole time. Breakfast, same thing every day. The elevators are awful. We stood 15 minutes (literally) waiting on the one elevator out of three to pick us up. Two weren’t working and multiple people were complaining about the wait time. Finally at check out and I asked why my $460 hadn’t been returned yet. She claimed incidentals again and would provide me a receipt showing it was a charge for incidentals. She gives me a receipt for PARKING only. Returned back to the desk and asked again for a copy showing it was a charge for incidentals. Now she said she can’t provide a receipt for that but it should be reversed “now” because she closed us out. Asked for a receipt showing that. Nada!
