I’d rate this around 3.5/5 if that were an option. Since VRBO only allows whole stars, I rounded up because there were several things we really liked. We stayed on the 21st floor in one of the penthouse suites with a group of eight. The unit was clean, the view was great, and the location was excellent, just steps from the beach. The pool area was a major highlight: two hot tubs, lazy river, pool, kids splash area, and plenty of towels. Parking was easy overall, though spots are tight for larger vehicles. Elevators were also good. That said, several issues kept it from feeling like a true 4-star stay. The sleeping setup worked, but my wife and I felt cramped, so it may be better for families with more kids than adults. We only had two key cards for eight people, one was bent and did not work from the start, and the other stopped working later. The host responded, but turnaround was slow. There were also maintenance issues: a bedroom fan made a loud grinding noise, the kitchen sink did not dispense hot water, and one balcony railing bar rattled loudly. It did not feel unsafe, but it made the balcony less enjoyable. We also had to buy more laundry detergent and dish soap, despite checkout expectations to do laundry/dishes. The arcade machines did not seem to work, and the 250 fee per parking pass if accidentally taken home felt excessive.Great location, pool, view, and cleanliness, but key card issues, maintenance, limited supplies, and fees kept it from being a true 4.
