Schöner Aufenthalt in Mysore
Alles in allem war ich mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden. Alles war in gutem Zustand und Sauber. Entspannung auf der Dachterrasse in begriffen. Das Stadtzentrum von Mysore ist zu Fuß erreichbar, wenn man das bei indischen Straßenverhältnissen denn will. Das einzig Störende war, dass die Nachtruhe etwas getrübt war.

Annehmbares Hotel n Stadtnähe.
Die fünf Sterne beziehen sich auf indischen Standard. Für eine Besichtigung von Mysore und einen entsprechenden Kurzaufenthalt ist das aber ausreichend. Das Hotel ist ausreichend zentrumsnah für Besichtigungen des Palastes etc.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer. Guter Service, z.B. bei der Reservierung des Taxis und als es Probleme mit dem Internet gab. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Restaurant auf dem Dach: sehr leckeres Essen und toller Service!

Zum Schlafen nicht geeignet!
Das Hotel gehört zur ITC-Gruppe, die laut Selbstverständnis 5-Sterne-Komfort bieten möchte. Nie und Nimmer! Mein erstes Zimmer lag am Lastenaufzug, nach einem Zimmerwechsel wurde Nachts um 23:00 Uhr begonnen die Einfahrt vor dem Hotel neu zu pflastern! Mein Neues Zimmer lag genau über dem Eingang. Nach erneuter Beschwerde wurde dann endlich um 1 Uhr morgens mit den Bauarbeiten aufgehört. Insgesamt sehr viele Businessleute aus Indien, die bei offenen Zimmertüren sich umgezogen haben, lautstark diskutiert haben und auf dem Flur telefoniert haben. Zimmertüren sind nicht schalldicht!. Wenn man also Wert auf Ruhe und einfach nur Schlafen legt, ist dieses Hotel nicht geeignet! Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut ungenügend!!!

Sehr gutes Hotel an lauter strasse
Wir verbrachten die ersten 3 Nächte unseres Indienurlaubs im Fortune JP Palace. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer nach vorne hinaus, das war ab 05:00 früh doch laut und den Schlaf störend. Das Zimmer war sehr gut und sauber. Von daher sehr empfehlenswert. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Das Personal ist kompetent. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen leider gut 2-3 km weg, so dass man eine Autorickshaw braucht, um dorthin zu gelangen.

Stay was excellent and house keeping staff was so amazing. Food was not great and they need to improve - brunch food was not hot at all and fresh. chicket meat was hard, sausage not fresh, fish was not freshly cooked -was rubbery, so they need to improve food big time to continue get customers to stay - no value for money in food.

We hated our stay at this hotel. The bed was very uncomfortable, we could feel each spring pockets on our body. Food was okay-ish but the wait and service were bad. The plates were not cleaned had food stuck from previous day, it was disgusting. Room service was super slow takes multiple request to even get some drinking water. We ordered one in room dining, they just served the food without cutleries, took another 30 minutes and multiple calls to get them. It had a kids play area but most of the toys were broken and not in use for some time.

Price gouging during the holidays
JP Palace is on a busy road. The night we stayed was extremely over priced. We did think it would be good enough at a much lower price, but for $267/21000 INR it was price gouging for the old fashioned decor. We expected to pay a bit more or that for that price it would be really nice, but this was far higher than it should be. They also play music in the corridor outside the rooms so it was noisy. The front desk staff were nice but were unhelpful in connecting with the wifi.

Great hardware and poor software
Good property close to the Mysore palace. Clean rooms. Good breakfast spread. Very good food. But slow service at the restaurant. Service staff moving around and have to really work hard to attract their attention. And front office staff not exactly the epitome of friendly service. They do their job. That’s about it.

1. Wake up call was not done 2. Valet parking was a mess inspite of clear instruction. 3. AC didnt work in the night and the technician was 45 mins late. We were checking out the day and had 6 AM safari which was 1.5 hrs away so were sleepless from 0145 A.M to 1500 hrs and not to mention we were travelling with a 2 year old.

Loved the rooms, they are spacious and well fitted. The housekeeping staff was also very good. The front office wasn't manned adequately, and that caused delays both during check in and check out. The service staff in the morning breakfast buffet was also inadequate. Overall a great property due to the quality of the rooms and the location. It's situated about a km from the bus stand and 2kms from the Palace, and next to the road coming in from Bangalore. Hence it's in an ideal location in Mysore if you have your own vehicle to go around town. If you don't have your own vehicle, you do have the option of auto rickshaws available in plenty due to the adjoining LPG filling station. Those looking to walk have 2 restaurants close by (to the Northern side), and a huge mall with a full fledged food court and movie hall to the South side of the hotel.

I stayed two nights at this property from March 20-23, 2023. Very nice clean room spacious with all required bells and whistles. The staff at the reception and at the hotel entrance were welcoming and pleasant. Mr. Adanan checked us in with giving the details including Wi-Fi password, breakfast timings and restaurant timing Etc., with a hint if you need anything please let us know and wishing us a pleasant stay. Mr. Anant and his team at the restaurant were very professional and knowledgeable and trying to make the guests happy. We ordered ala carte lunch all the items were delicious. If I don’t mention about their complimentary buffet breakfast I will be not doing justice to my review because it was extensive and excellent. This review absolutely based on our experience of those two days stay. If happen to visit Mysore again I will not search for other hotel and stay there . I already recommend it to my cousin who is visiting Mysore end of this month- please keep up good work🙏
