Great cottage within walking distance to town. No issues with house. AC units worked well. Parking spot was great since we brought our car. For the price, I feel like it was a great rental.

We had the pleasure of meeting Deirdre and her husband during our stay. They were the loveliest couple. Their friendliness and hospitality added an extra special touch to our mother daughter weekend. They were so prompt with anything we needed. They also went above and beyond for us when our flights got cancelled. The house was so great for 6 of us mothers and daughters. It had plenty of space and bathroom space. The location was perfect, it was close enough to walk into town, yet secluded enough for a peaceful environment. We 100% recommend staying here for a group trip!

Nantucket Town - Great Location

This home has an amazing location (right off upper Main Street) with a 10 min walk to town. The host was very accommodating and made the check in process easy for me and answered all my inquiries. I fully recommend if you want a nice place close to town.

Charming Cottage- Great Location

We loved our recent stay at Deirdre’s home. Everything was very clean upon arrival and suited our needs perfectly. Deirdre was an incredible communicator and was extremely prompt with her responses. We highly recommend this simple, comfortable cottage. The location is truly perfect!

Perfect in town cottage

We stayed at this delightful cottage with enormous outdoor space for a family wedding weekend. It was perfect for my teenage son, adult step-son and his wife, husband and me. It is appx a 20 minute walk to town. I highly recommend this cottage. We'd be very happy to stay there again!

Incredible location!

This was a lovely house just steps from downtown Nantucket- such a fantastic location just steps/ a quick bike ride from everything, but quiet and private. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Just note that the bathroom setup may be a little unusual if you're more than two adults, so review room setup carefully, but we made it work and were very happy.

We loved this rental - charming new england coastal vibe with a perfect location. It had 1.5 bathrooms and an outdoor shower that we did use & loved! Bedrooms were good size and plenty of community space including a large dining table. We traveled with small pug and there were 2 crates at the house- large and small. Shared backyard had dining table with umbrella and privacy from neighbors, as well as house was on a dead end street off of main st. In the backyard there was a shed with beach chairs and couple of umbrellas. Beach towels were in the linen closet. Nantucket shuttle bus stops 1 block away brought us straight to Madaket beach. Madaket bike trail 1block away - pretty extensive rail trail system for cyclist. Easy walk to downtown or shuttle bus in. Owner was extremely responsive when we did have a couple of questions and booking process start to finish was super easy. Perfect location to access all on the island. We would book this property again!

Perfect location, yard, host, everything!

We had such a great time at Dierde’s home. I came with friends for the 4th of July and Dierdre was so accommodating with our travel schedule and very quick to respond! This home is so close to Main St - we were able to walk to and from and bike all around so conveniently. Thanks so much!

Stop Drop Book

I can’t say enough about the place, and the owners. If the dates are available, stop looking and book. Likely the nicest VRBO Owners I have come across. In its current state, the place may not hit the pages of Architectural Digest, but if you want a cozy Old School Nantucket cottage, pick this place. I truly hope we get to return. Thanks for an amazing pre-Christmas Holiday!
