Our host was very easy to communicate with.The location served our event/visit well. The place was nice, but we had a few issues:No hot water (not even lukewarm) for both kitchen and bath sinks, although plenty of hot water in the nice shower.Liquid hand soap items on bath and kitchen sinks were empty and no replacements available. Bath had a couple of used bottles of shampoo/conditioner, as if left by previous guests. No liquid shower soaps (not even travel size) available--luckily we brought a few. Microwave sat on top of fridge (not easy to access without a chair unless taller than 5'8 or 5'9") and had caked-on dirt.Nicely offered coffee and teas and most anything to cook and prepare food, even if just doing take-out.Housekeeping: We've stayed in many private host-homes in various parts of Nashville across last 12 yrs and have never been requested to remove bedsheets/towels to place on floor, nor take out trash, otherwise may be served with a fee, as always presumed that is housekeeping and already paid as such in the total bill when reserved said place. It was a bit off-putting and seemed unreasonable.We really liked the area and, again, the host was really nice and easy to contact. However, we would only consider staying there again if some of the issues I raised were resolved.

Nice location/strong musty odor

This property is a converted garage and is clean and seemed to be in a nice neighborhood. Unfortunately there was a very heavy musty odor so if that is something that will bother you, I would advise you to look elsewhere.

Perfect Downtown Spot without the Downtown Stress

Wonderful property in the perfect neighborhood to get anywhere you need to in the Nashville Area. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Will stay again and recommend to anyone coming to town.

Convenient westside location

This rental is in a great location; we were able to walk to nearby restaurants for breakfast and dinner, and visiting downtown music venues required only a short Uber trip. Hosts were very easy to work with; would definitely book again.

Nice place to stay in Nashville

The VRBO was just as advertised. Perfect for two, in a great location. The host was attentive when needed, otherwise left us alone to enjoy the place. We enjoyed many of their recommendations!!

Sylvan Park stay

Great location! Easy check in process. Owners nice and friendly! Need curtains for two windows facing owners yard. Lack of privacy you can see owners family walking around house therefore they can see you walking around in your pjs. Mattress needs replacing very lumpy

Charming stay in beautiful neighborhood

The thoughtful and attentive hosts have done an exemplary job of converting a freestanding structure (originally a garage) into a comfortable one-bedroom with generous living and kitchenette/dining areas. Nicely decorated, with all the amenities. Sylvan Park is a great area, convenient to local attractions, and there are excellent restaurants within walking distance.

Not as advertised

We gave 24 hour notice of our arrival time per host request and beds not made and dirty linens on the bathroom floor. Also was not aware that this property was a converted garage located off an alley in hosts backyard. Poorly described VRBO and my husband & I did not end up staying here due to not feeling comfortable at this location based on first impressions. I wish I could share the pictures we took for more accurate description of the property. We did ask hosts about full or partial refund but never heard from them. Would NOT recommend!!!!

Excellent, quiet, comfortable property!

What a lovely little place! Everything was clean and operational, and the bed was quite comfortable, too. My sister lives nearby, and this was the absolute best location near her home in a safe, quiet area of Nashville. The owners also quickly responded to any questions I had via the app. I will absolutely stay here again!

Great location, very comfortable space

This is a perfect location for exploring Nashville highlights. Close to downtown, but within easy walking distance of restaurants. The unit is a detached stand-alone unit with very high ceilings and great light and space. Everything was nicely furnished, and the owner is great to deal with. Highly recommend this location for a quiet place to stay while still being close to all Nashville has to offer.

Great little place

Our trip was unfortunately cut short by mishaps at home but the few hours we were here were nice. The bed is comfortable and the place is very clean. Appeared to have everything we would have needed for a weekend stay. Our only suggestion would be a tv where the bed is. Great location and close to many restaurants. We would stay here again

Great Sylvan Park Property

This property was immaculate and was well cared for by the hosts. Clean, convenient and central to many restaurant options. It had everything I needed for my 5 day stay. I would love to stay at this property again should my travel plans take me back to the Nashville area.
