Our family of five had plenty of space to spread out and each have privacy. Loved the coffeeshop down the street. Had read other reviews to know that the 4th "bedroom" was going to be small - it sure was. Short Lyft to downtown. Recommend Pharmacy down the street.
We were six adults in town for a wedding and sightseeing; this new East Nashville home appears to be in a recently gentrified neighborhood. It's a roomy layout inside. Grand Welcome staff were quickly responsive and receptive to issues we raised, although it got a little confusing with emails answered via texts and vice versa.
But ...management has some polishing to do. The interior of this home has bright white, undimmable lights that have all the ambiance of a hospital operating room. There are no lamps in the living area to soften this.
No coffee or side tables for the large sectional couch either, so drinks and snacks are held in laps. There are a multitude of light switches that could be lightly labeled to minimize switch confusion. There is no guestbook of house instructions for things like how to turn on the indoor/outdoor fireplaces, where to put the garbage, local restaurants, check out process, etc.
Upstairs, the minor bedrooms only have one bedside table each, so that one person's personal items go on the floor. The ceiling fans in the living area and one bedroom did not work. Some core kitchen utensils were MIA. We were left with a really inadequate service of hand/dish towels. The master bedroom porch hadn't been cleaned in some time - thick dust and dense cob webs on both chairs and house exterior. The lawn in the backyard needed mowing.
Rental rates are on the upper end for what we were looking for, and this should have been better.
I recommend this home but beware of the listing shown vs reality. See below:
The pros: Forevermore Coffee shop and boutique is a 1 minute walk. I spent every morning here. House is darling and well stocked. The beds are very comfy. Close to the Gulch, Downtown, and Opry. The owners were responsive and I would stay here again.
The Cons: 4 bedrooms is an overstatement. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and a teeny tiny sitting area downstairs that is being considered a bedroom. One girl slept on the sofa bed and used this tiny area as her closet. The house only âsleeps 10â because of an available air mattress and this mini area. Without sharing beds, my party of 4 women were comfortable.
This was a great property. Very Pretty, nice and open. A quick Uber to downtown. The property is listed as 4 bedroom. The one tiny room, more the size of a walk in closet, has a futon. Not really big enough for an adult. Calling it a bedroom is a stretch. It worked out fine since it was a group of guys. But if this were a couples trip it would of been an issue.
This was my first time booking with VRBO, so I was a little nervous about, well everything, from not getting the procedure to enter the property to the property not looking like the pictures on line. Well my worries were unfounded, the property was very lovely, clean and comfortable we were very happy will consider getting the same place next time we go to Nashville thank you so much!!
Great area - fun, easy to get around to all the places we needed!
The actual home itself (and the owner) were amazing! The beds were SO COMFORTABLE , so much so I asked the owner the brand! Exactly as pictured, all amenities were there to make it an easy to travel destination. Truly a beautiful home, we recommend it!
The mgmt company; replied fairly timely (once we were here). The back bedroom, the sheets were not cleaned, we had to wash the first night, before going to bed, nor was the floor cleaned. There were some broken items, that we reported so we wouldnât be blamed for it. The biggest âproblem â was they did not clean the oven. There was a huge oil spill in it, which caused the entire home to smoke. The owner happened to check his mail at the time - I asked him to come in to see/smell all the smoke, so he is aware of the situation. He was kind enough to bring us fans to help air out the smoke, clean the oven, go cook our food at his house & was a delight to meet/speak with.
Day three of our stay, we returned in the afternoon to get ready for our evening - the door code was changed. We couldnât get in. It took 15-20 min to get ahold of the mgmt co to get a code to get in (the neighbor was also trying to assist us by calling the owner).
Really great location. Only being 8/12 mins away from broadway was amazing and made Ubering super cheap. The newly renovated house was so beautiful and so comfortable to stay in.
Comfortable Home Good Location for Taking In Nashville
The home was very clean, comfortable and well decorated. This was a girl's trip of 4. Home was convenient for getting an uber to Broadway and taking off for other site seeing destinations. The management was very helpful and available for questions. I would recommend this home to others as it made our stay extra comfortable.
This was hands down the best rental we've ever stayed at. The home was modern, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The sectional couch was the most comfortable couch we've ever sat on in a hotel or rental. The Nashville/country music decorations were fun and interesting. There were so many nice extra touches like throw blankets, a puzzle and games, and welcome kits with little soaps and such. We didn't need to buy anything but food to stay comfortably there. There were several really great restaurants nearby and it was close to Nashville's touristy things without being in a rowdy or noisy area (which was appealing since we were traveling with our kids). We would definitely stay there again.
Great property! The backyard area is significantly smaller than the pictures project. Communication with the property managers needs improvement. Only minor issues with our stay though. I would book again.
Property was well taken care of and enjoyable to stay in. The bedframe in the back bedroom was a bit broken, but we were able to fix. Should be looked at by the management company.
Everything else was great, and provided us a nice retreat at the end of the day to relax at.
Very nice house, we furnished, very clean. We thought we had a garage as posted as an amenity, when we got there there was a car there. So I call the host who said only street parking?
A Memorable Birthday Stay in Music City! âââââ
My daughter's 21st birthday weekend in Nashville was made even more special thanks to our stay at this fantastic home! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with cleanliness, quiet neighborhood, and an overall amazing atmosphere.
The cleanliness of the space was impeccable, every corner was spotless, and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
Despite being in the heart of Music City, the home provided a serene escape from the bustling streets. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring Nashville's vibrant culture.
The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cozy furnishings and thoughtful touches made us feel right at home.
Lastly, I cannot emphasize enough how amazing the overall experience was. From booking to check-out, the host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, making the entire process seamless.
I would highly recommend this rental home to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and amazing stay in Nashville. It truly exceeded all expectations and made my daughter's 21st birthday celebration one to remember. We cannot wait to return!
Thank you to the host for providing such a wonderful space for our special occasion!
We had 6 ladies for a Girls Trip.
The house was great. Very clean, lots of room.
We were only about 5 minutes from Nissan Stadium which is where we took Ubers to, and we walked across the bridge to Broadway. ( it was quicker than having them drive to Broadway through all the traffic and pedestrians.)
We did see on the last day that there was a bus stop at the end of our street. We wished we had seen it sooner. Maybe we could have used that instead of Uber.
There is a Krogers about 5 minutes away. Thats where we got our groceries.
Would definitely recommend this house.
The home was as shown, delightfully decorated, and I liked the Nashville-themed items in the home. When I needed assistance, the response was timely and helpful. Proximity to downtown made heading to venues, dining, etc, easy. I would recommend to those visiting Nashville. A key part of a fine family trip!
My family and I loved this property. It was very clean, the beds were more comfortable than a hotel, and we had most of the amenities we needed. There was 1 towel per person, so be prepared to do a load of wash, or just reuse. I would have liked more hand soap in each bathroom. Smart TVs are in each room, so you can log into your streaming services---a plus for kiddos. It's situated nicely between downtown and the Opry area, if those are stops on your visit.
