« The property and accommodations were better than expected. The home was beautiful, clean with all the amenities needed. It sits on a flowing river surrounded by wildlife. « Charming and rustic! There are some rural challenges that were not that important to us. There is no cell service, so download your Check-in information in advance. There are not many options for gas/ convenience nearby, but we brought our own food and went to hike, so not a problem! It sleeps 8 and is very roomy, but there is only 1 bathroom. « This property was perfect for our party of 14. We had 8 adults and 6 kids from age 17 to 7. The house was very accommodating with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms & space to spread out and enjoy a variety of activities. The decor of the house is very interesting and lends to its uniqueness. Each bedroom/bathroom had plenty of room. The kitchen is spacious and has plenty of pots/pans/supplies to cook.The surroundings outside were beautiful and fun to explore. « We loved our stay at the mansion and it meet our overnight needs perfectly. We thought we were the only ones there, but in the morning there were several other guests so that attests to how quite it was. The kitchen and living and dining areas were wonderful. I really appreciated the coffee after a somewhat wet hiking experience. »

« This rental property was just as advertised. Set in an extremely beautiful area in the VA mountains. Cleanliness is very important to us and this home didn't disappoint. Hiking on the Appalachian Trail was a goal of ours and this location provided many entry points to some great hikes. We'll stay again for sure.... »
