Week in the City

Mostly what I expected reading the description. NYC apartment only two blocks from the Empire State Building. Great location, close to numerous attractions and subway stations.I did end up reaching out for check in information when we arrived. No instructions on how to check in until I asked. We were a group of 8 so extra charges were added, but even though it says towels are provided, there were only 3. The listing also says extra bed - it is a rollaway bed (there was also an inflatable mattress) but there was not bedding for either of these.Check out was easy.Over all a good place to stay for a week in the city.

Great Location

Property was exactly what we need for along weekend in NYC. Having a kitchen and a separate bedroom are a major improvement over a hotel room for a family. The living room, which includes several beds, could use blinds on the door to keep out the morning sun. No check in instructions were provided via the site. We had to contact VRBO customer service after the check in time to get connected with the host in order to receive the instructions.

Great. Easy access to subway and local stores and restaurants

We drove into the city, dropped off luggage and parked at AZ parking garage 3 blocks away. There were garages next to rental but with horrible reviews. Our car was in perfect condition when we picked it up after are stay. We picked this place because we hate carpet rentals and this place is all solid floors. Perfect location and we would rent again

Great location, new listing

When I booked this it had no reviews, so I was a bit nervous. I was even more nervous when I had not been sent check-in instructions through VRBO. The day before they asked for my email and phone number, which I sent, but day of travel I had not received anything. I had also asked about bag storage after our check-out, since we had tck out before we would be ready to head to the airport. Responses were slow, and seemed to be coming from different people and we're not very clear. When we landed I saw a message that they had tried calling me- but I'd been flying.

Good location but not exactly as advertised

We wanted to check in early so paid additionally to be able to do so. We arrived at the early check in time and had absolutely no details on how to access the property. It required a call to the host to get in. That was fine but took a minute to figure out and they did answer when I called. The apartment was not as spacious as the listing looks and we were cramped with 4 people plus luggage. The bedroom was laid out weird and I had to crawl over my husband to get out of the bed. There was no storage, some of the lights did not work and the bathroom was very small, making it hard to get ready with that many people. Also not having anywhere to sit other than a bar stool or bed was not ideal. It did feel like a true NYC apartment/experience. Overall we enjoyed our stay, really like the bagel place next door and the location was great and walkable to most places or a quick cab or subway away.
