We enjoyed our one night stay however feel there are improvements that would enhance the experience. Breakfast was nice with a good selection and welcoming staff. The welcome wine was a generous touch at check in.
The outdoor pool is great however would be improved with keeping the area tidy and organised when guests have left their towels and drinking glasses behind. I found it really unpleasant using the steam room when I noticed a plaster on the floor amongst many hairs, the next day the plaster was still on the floor and proved the steam room had not been cleaned, the sauna was also covered in hairs on the floor. Shame as the facilities were lovely but needed cleaning. I was surprised no slippers were available in the rooms with the robes. Also the water dispenser had not been replenished so on exiting the sauna there was no water available. It felt very low standards that the basics had not been seen to.
Check in at 4pm also seems quite late. The room was nice enough for what we needed for a night however if staying longer there’s no wardrobe to unpack, just some coat hooks on the wall.
The hotel is great for a night and if you’re lucky with good weather to enjoy the outdoor pool. Although we felt some areas needed improvement we did have a really good time and thought the young staff were very friendly and helpful.
