« We looked at a lot of properties & I reached out to several of the owners with questions. Bear was the ONLY ONE that responded promptly-EVERY-TIME! That to us, was worth it! As far as the property goes, it was very clean, fully stocked & there was enough room for the 9 of us! The area was very quiet & we saw wildlife in the backyard. We definitely will be returning! »

« Such a great property and location. Very easy to get to, very easy to get into the property, and great accommodations! Would absolutely stay again. Host was polite and gave easy instructions to follow for check in and check out. The property had everything we needed and was in great condition. »

« Ken was a great host and always available if needed! Home has lots of space for small and large families! Absolutely great location to soo many attractions in the area. Pretty well appointed house, kitchen could use better cooking pots!… Back yard was great, but not accessible directly from house. No covered parking.Great patio for late afternoon and evening. Many restaurants and shopping within walking distance!Hill City Steam train right across the street… great fun for families!We loved...

« The washing machine never worked with only 2 towels for bathroom in downstairs with 2 bedrooms so we could not wash for a week stay Called multiple times no one came also we were flying so we went conservative on clothes because we could wash but that did not workIt was in a wonderful location and loved the house »

« Our family enjoyed staying here, and would definitely return if the opportunity presents itself. It was a nice retreat after hiking and seeing the sites in the Black Hills area. »

« Place was pretty small but ok for a couple. AC noise very loud so impossible to hear the TV or get much sleep. Blinds were warped, dirty, and missing wands. You will need a 4 wheel drive to access the property. Owner was very nice and responsive. Would recommend they fix the pathway, to the front door, as it is a tripping hazard. »

« A large, 3 story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Enough room for a whole family. Main bedroom on 3rd floor is large, good views out windows Nice deck on front of house, back yard with hot tub which we did't get to use. Only problem for me was finding it. I did not realize it was on such a hill. Several roads up to house say one way, so you have to figure out which roads to take. If you have a large vehicle, parking is a little tricky, as we had to parallel park to street. Overall, house is nice. »

« Beautiful cabin and easy to find. Check in was effortless. Instructions were clear. We would have given 5 stars but the cleanliness was a little lacking. Specifically, the dead bugs and flies we found in and around the beds. Everything else was fantastic. »

« The location was great for a short walk into town and to a hiking trail. The house was large and had plenty of space and rooms to choose from for our party of 6. It was clean and comfortable, and was easy to communicate with host. It was the best spot for our family to stay during a mini family reunion and graduation weekend. »
