There were 9 of us celebrating the Thanksgiving weekend. We found this home to be amazing,,,, just as the photos showed!!!! The hot tub was perfect,,, toasty warm. We all enjoyed a movie downstairs on the super cozy couch. The guys really enjoyed the many games,,,, golf, shuffle board,, pool table etc. It snowed lightly all the days we were there adding to the holiday feel. We would definitely rent this property again.

My sisters and I had a fantastic weekend. The home was exceptional with plenty of room. The basement was unbelievable with all the activities for everyone to do. The outdoor space was phenomenal as well. We enjoyed sitting at the table outside playing games with the beautiful weather. There was plenty of room to enjoy each other inside with a table in the kitchen and a huge table in the dining room. Several sitting areas around the home were also lively. The kitchen had several spices available to us for cooking meals. We appreciated the washer and dryer on the main level. The air conditioners worked well with the exception of one. We called and it was replaced within hours. What an incredible home this was. We highly recommend this home for a wonderful getaway. It would be a skier’s paradise during the winter months. Special thanks for allowing our 2 dogs to come along!

Great for family get together

We wanted a place to spend time with the family. There was room to spread out and places to be together. The groundhogs were very entertaining. Swimming by the covered bridge was nice. Not much happening in mid-June in Bethel.

Birthday celebrations

We Absolutely LOVED our stay at the Mansion! It had plenty of room for all of us. We celebrated three grandsons birthdays (2, 4, 6 & a half birthday 4.5 and the Grandma) . The game rooms were so much fun! The house was well equipped with everything you need. Beds comfy, bathrooms with showers AMAZING!! Nice area out back to play. Saw a mama groundhog and 7 baby ones. Three turkeys snd lots of beautiful butterflies. Definitely would book again!

Outstanding location close to hiking, golf, fishing, etc. Nice private setting with plenty of space for a big group to spread out. Lots of fun games and activities on site. Great amenities and excellent communication throughout the process.

Great Family Weekend

We rented this property for the long Memorial Day weekend for our young adult children, their significant others, and our parents (9 of us in total). We hadn’t been to Newry previously and found that there was plenty to do locally for a 4 day stay. The weather was rainy for the first two days and there was plenty to do in the house itself for us to still enjoy our time. The game room, jacuzzi, and bar area created a lot of fun family time. The house was spacious enough that all could have their own space. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware. The house was outfitted with awesome speakers, and the furniture, pillows and heavy blankets were incredibly comfortable. Lots of nature and cool breweries locally. Overall, fantastic stay!

Good getaway

The house was AMAZING! Had a wonderful time We had a pretty big group and the house was comfortable enough for all of us including kids and a dog. Did not feel crowded at all. Hosts were wonderful, very accommodating with late check out and asking if we need anything. The views from the house are spectacular, you dont need to go out at all honestly, you would have a good time just enjoying the house amenities and the views, def worth the drive from NY

Simply amazing

We had a brilliant stay at the mansion. The views are gorgeous and the garden is supernice to play games in which are all there (croquet, cornhole etc). Inside the house is very well done and when with a bigger group everyone can still do their own thing. Play games and watch tv downstairs, use the living room and kitchen on the first floor and sleep and relax on the second floor. Can absolutely recommend

Everything we wanted

The house was fantastic for hosting a weekend get together with cooking, fires, lawn games, and plenty of indoor entertainment. The kitchen is incredibly well outfitted with a large variety of high quality cookware including a large cast iron collection, plenty of pots and pans, and a few heavy ceramic pots which worked great for a slow cooking some pork. The property is maintained incredibly well and it was a pleasure spending time outside or inside during our stay. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a house that can be the focus of weekend, as well as anyone going up to newry for the mountains and nature. The hosts were very communicative and provided everything we needed and requests ahead of our stay. No complaints whatsoever, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Friends Gathering

Our annual Kineo trip was called off due to lack of ice on Moosehead and this was a fantastic alternative. 18th year of our friends hangout, couldn't have asked for a better house.

The Tough Mountain

This was a truly beautiful property even more amazing upon arrival. We drove 6 hrs to get there when we arrived we were a 1/2 or so early. Kirk the property manager and his crew were finishing off there preparation for our stay. He informed us a nearby lake to visit and an great restaurant called Ebinezers. I’m not sure if we were supposed but my daughters paddle-boarded the pond and had a blast. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to rent a mansion. Its well worth it
