First, the host is welcoming and fairly responsive to real-time questions. You’d be hard-pressed to find another property with this many bedrooms and bathrooms—great for adult friend groups—plus a large pool and spectacular views. It’s a beautiful spot for sunset.That said, for the price we expected the property to be a bit cleaner and more up to date in terms of maintenance. The white furnishings shown in the photos have become somewhat worn and dingy in places. The sofa pillows and curtains could use a deep cleaning, and I ended up washing the comforter on my bed before using it the first night.There were also a few maintenance issues during our stay. Several lights flickered, there were some exposed wires, and the door handle to the gym/pool room was loose, causing the door to swing open repeatedly. I notified the host and received a quick acknowledgment, though that particular issue wasn’t addressed during our stay. On a positive note, they did send someone out to repair a hot water tap that wasn’t working in one of the showers.Overall, the home worked well for our group of relatively easygoing friends and family. Guests looking for a large space with great views may enjoy it, though those expecting a more polished or luxury-level experience may notice some of the wear and maintenance items.
