âWeâve stayed in 181 hotels all over Thailand in the last four years and track the quality of each hotel. We rate 24 hotels in Thailand as being exceptional, and of those, just 2 in Isaan are of the highest rating. Of the two, Lake House is the highest rated hotel we have stayed in.

âVaree Valley Resort is an excellent resort to stay at. Clean and spacious rooms and a good restaurant with excellent food. The staff is friendly and service very good. I will definitely plan a trip to this area again and stay at this resort!â

âThis place is super inexpensive but be prepared for a very dingy hostel. This hostel is hidden above an AirAsia travel shop (that is where you enter). The room was basically falling apart. When I wanted to go to sleep I lifted up the ragedy blanket and there was a giant bug in it. We ended up leaving and going to a clean hostel around the corner that only cost a few dollars more.â
