« The house is in significant disrepair. Kitchen window is falling off the frame, won’t close or lock. Another 1st floor window only locked at one end, easily pushed open. The latch just won’t catch. Front door locks but the wood is rotted, barely attached. Broken smoke detector. Rusted vent cover falling off the wall. Electrical outlets are poorly installed…etc. We did not feel safe there and left within a few hours. The house was also not super clean and smelled like a dirty dog. I’ve stayed in...

« I would not stay again. You cannot control the temperature. I was freezing and had to wear a sweater to bed! The bed had an infestation of black bugs. Very difficult to get my suitcase down and up the slippery outside steps. »

« We contacted the host a couple days after our stay because three of our family members came down with hot tub folliculitis. I was told that they clean the hot tub once a week and sometimes more. They stated that they have never had this problem before, but I would do some additional checking in the future. The house was adequate but we felt it could have been cleaner. The listing states it sleeps 10 but accommodations for our group of 5 adults and three children were tight. »
