„This was a nice stay for my mom and I close to Mt. Baker. Check-in was easy, host was communicative. The bed setup works, however if you sleep in the single bed it’s a little dangerous getting in and out of the bed using the provided step stool. There is a nice yard for your dog if you bring them along. “

„Very well-stocked home in a beautiful setting. It was very private and lovely to see the whales out in the water. Bald eagles floated past the big bay windows and there is lovely hiking just minutes away. The beds and bedding are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked if you plan to cook, and there are a few places close to go for supplies. There are 43 steps down to the front door through a series of 5 staircases. If you have any mobility issues, this would be a difficult stay. “

„No, the room had a musty, moldy smell. I purchased room deoderant to cover the odor as much as possible during our stay. 4 out of 5 light bulbs in the dining area fixture were burned out and 1 was missing from a lamp in the living room. It would be good to have at least 1 sauce pan and a toaster. The living room couch was rock hard. I believe it may be a sleeper sofa, but it would be uncomfortable at best to sleep on. The view is beautiful!!! “

„We enjoyed an extended stay at Cowboy Cabin. It was great being out in a rural area, and we especially enjoyed watching hawks, swans, and other birds in the marsh across the street. The on-site staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Just know that this is an older building with dents and bruises, and the heating system could use a little attention. I'll bet kids would enjoy the cowboy decor and plenty of room to play in the large living room.“
