The host was very accomodating, helpful and attentive during our entire stay with any question or concern we had. The location was perfect for me and my siblings. Downtown North Conway was a 2 min drive and everything we wanted to see was winthin less than an hour drive in every direction. We cooked every meal at the house with a well stocked kitchen of pans, spices and even a wine key! We enjoyed the beautiful deck on the house watching the first snowfall of the year! They have done a lot of work on the house, but kept the rustic feel. It was perfect for our 2 night stay.

Great quiet location 5 minutes from the North Conway village. We used Glenn’s place as a base for hiking which worked out great and we returned in the evening for dinner and to watch baseball playoff games. Everyone was happy with the accomodations including the dog.

Eight of us were in N Conway for a family wedding. It was a very busy weekend in N Conway and was very nice to get away from the crowds and traffic. The house is well set up and equipped and in a quiet neighborhood. Communication with the host was great. Very prompt responses.

It was perfect for our group. We were a group of mountain bikers ranging in age from 30 to 50. Everything was as explained in the listing. The house was perfect for us. It had lots of room to spread out and plenty of parking. Our group came in from all parts of the country so we had many vehicles.

Been camping in the area for 30 years, thought we would try Vrbo. This place is rustic but very clean and comfortable. Lots of room. Enjoyed the deck and fire pit. Close to all our memories. Very accommodating for a rather large dog. The price is very affordable. Wish we had brought our bikes because the neighborhood is very quiet.

Exactly as advertised—just what we were looking for! Check-in was a breeze through VRBO messaging. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for preparing and enjoying a home-cooked meal for our group of nine adults. We loved the spacious, east-facing deck—ideal for morning sun, appetizers, dinners, or simply relaxing. It was also just a quick drive to Cathedral Ledge for a spectacular sunrise. The basement with its bar and pool table was nice, and the all hardwood/composite flooring was great for a pet-friendly stay. We never made it to the fire pit, which was well stocked with firewood for s’mores, but would love to return in cooler weather for another chance.

This was my first Verbo experience and it didn’t disappoint. The description matched the home and it was exactly what I was hoping for. I’m from NH and moved to FL several years ago. I’ve missed all that NH has to offer. My family and I had an amazing time!!

I don't believe "rustic" is a good description for this property.

The outdoors is very unkempt - and overgrown. This is not a place I would let children play outdoors - very little space. I think there are other rentals in the area because some of the neighborhood yards looked the same as this - not very inviting. Lots of ticks due to overgrown grass, bushes, etc. We had a hard time locating the towels - and there is not much provided in the way of incidentals. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms. Lots of broken things - lights with non-working bulbs, etc. A HUGE tv that took up lots of space and made the living room hard to maneuver in. Kitchen was lacking. This is not a good place for families with small children. We never got the code to the lock texted or emailed to us - I had to text then call the host. He thought we were coming the next day. He was very nice and got things straightened out soon after 4:00. We did text about not finding any towels and were told to keep looking. We found a few - fortunately, we brought our own towels "just in case." No salt, no pepper, no coffee and even though it had probably been cleaned recently, the inside matched the outside - didn't feel very clean. This is a good for a place to lay your head, but it could use a good cleaning (scrubbing), the yard could use some mowing and trimming, and lots of small things inside the house need repair.

Great Stay

The rustic chalet in Conway was just as described. Not too fancy but very clean. It had a well-stocked kitchen for preparing meals, games & toys for the kids and was very cozy. We had 7 adults and 3 young children in our party and had plenty of space. A very convenient location near cathedral ledge and a short drive to downtown north conway. Our host was very quick to respond to all communications. We would definitely return

A wonderful snowy weekend in NH!

Location and neighborhood were great. The layout of the house was perfect for two families with kids. Plenty of room to spread out. Close to town and multiple mountains.

The house was great. Clean, plenty of room and affordable. The Pool Table was a lot of fun too! Glenn (the owner) was very responsive and generous....I really appreciated him. The location was great too...good neighborhood and close to downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Cozy Home

My family had the best time this week! The house was very clean, and had all the amenities of home with a rustic, mountain feel. The owner was extremely responsive and we didn’t want for anything the entire stay. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic rental close to town

My 7 high school friends and I came to this chalet for a Girls Weekend Getaway and we absolutely loved it. There was plenty of space for us all to spread out but also just sit and chat. Everything we needed was provided and we especially loved sitting on the front deck to enjoy the scenery and beautiful weather. Glenn, the owner, was incredibly generous, offering to let us check in a few days early (tho we weren't able to take advantage of it). It was perfectly located just minutes from town and some great hiking spots. Would definitely reccommend this place and would love to return in the future if the opportunity came up.

quick getaway

This home had everything we needed to be able to spend time as a group and make some wonderful memories. Fire pit, grill and pool table were a great add on to enjoy the property.
