« The host was extremely attentive to any questions or needs. Excellent and immediate communication. Good, quiet location between Islip airport and Port Jefferson. The size of the unit was very adequate for two people. « If you are looking for a place to sleep, this place is ok. No place to sit down or put anything down. Just a bed and an old beat up tiny side table. Refrigerator is tiny, needed to be cleaned and defrosted. Stains in the bathroom ceiling tiles and the smell of Marijuana at night. Hot plate and microwave present but did not use. The entryway and stairs were dirty and could use a coat of paint and trim. The beach was the highlight and a very short walk. Definitely not worth the $$$ we paid. »

« I knew Hamptons housing would be pricey, and the location, about 20 minutes from the venue I was visiting for a music show, was the main draw. I requested an early check in due to a meeting and was told the host would follow up. They never did, even after I sent a follow-up message. I understand early check in isn’t guaranteed, but I would have appreciated some communication either way.I returned in the evening to find some things out of place, a TV with no signal, and blinds that wouldn’t close...
